Indigo cautiously opens the door, still in her pajamas. She had formally asked Emmy to be able to start work a few hours later than her early morning shift so she could find time to figure out ways to avoid her cousin who seemed to be in town. Jittery at first, she was pleasantly surprised to find the small sack of apply slices by her door and she held it up to read who it was from. 

“Mysterious Book Giver, again, huh?” She said with a chuckle, small traces of defeat in her voice. “I wonder if I’ll ever find out who it is.”

Five BeVa Scenarios maybe?

• On days off of work, which are rather rare in their line of work, they would just lay in a hammock, Ava laying relaxed in Ben’s embrace, both their eyes dclosed and they bask in the sunlight streaming between the leaves of the trees they rest beneath. 

• It seems to be incredibly cold this winter season and though Ava can very well handle the chill of the winter wind, Ben insists she take refuge in his warmth. He pulls his oversized sweater over both of them. They are currently both wearing one sweater. Wow. Nerds.

• They both gettin’ stronk together. Ben can lift four times Ava’s weight. Ava can bench press nearly twice of Ben’s weight. And believe me, that’s a feat to behold. Talk about a power couple.

• Ben and Ava establish the ‘monster’ rescue cooperative. They’re like the firefighters, but without the fires, and if the only emergencies in town involved saving woolies and other monsters from compromising cramped spaces. It is a very fulfilling job.

• It’s past dusk on a Friday night and they’ve just finished dinner. Because Ben prepared dinner, Ava sets out to clean and wash up the dishes. However all the while, Ben has been stuck listening to a very nostalgic song playing on the phonograph Salai gave them as a housewarming gift and as Ava is tidying up the dishes, Ben slides into the kitchen and literally lifts her off her feet in a mediocre attempt to ballroom dance across the kitchen floor. They barely manage to twirl their way across the kitchen and into the living room where Ben trips over the carpet and they tumble and fall, Ben hard on his back with Ava fall cushioned by Ben’s body and they laugh and laugh. That’s what he gets for keeping her from being productive.

(๑♡∀♡๑) with Ava~

Indigo slowly made her way out of the Bell Hotel. She had had a bad start to the morning; she ran out of butter for her toast, she had slipped and fell on her way out of the bath and her tea was uncomfortably sweet! Just an overall unlucky day. 

Her head pounded lightly; though whether it was because of the fall or the ridiculously sweetness of her morning tea, she had no idea. But it was enough to make her contemplate taking the day off, and she disliked taking days off. But she decided against it; one last chance. 

Cautiously, she made her way towards the town square. One of her last duties of the day was to retrieve a couple of Yokmir monster drops for a traveling requester, though ultimately she wasn’t quite sure today was the day to fulfill this particular quest. Especially with her fortune... or rather lack thereof. 

Still, she pushed herself into gradually walking the southward road from the town gate, her gaze almost permanently glued to the ground. Her mind filled with miscellaneous thoughts, she hadn’t noticed the figure walking towards her before she --

*POMF* 

--Collided.

“Oh, I’m so sorry--” 

Though Indigo only but caught a glimpse of the stranger she had walked into before they were only but another fading silhouette walking into Selphia. 

Green eyes and dark auburn hair-- though she had only but blurred visual memories of these two characteristics, they filled her mind. Overflowed-- 

She hardly remembered anything about this stranger, but her ears felt warm at the thought of them. Of only that. 

Eyes... Hair. 

How peculiar. How uncomfortable. 

She rubbed her cheek fervently as she stared at her shoes. Her hand pulled at her collar. Her chest felt both swollen and empty. She could almost feel her heartbeat ring in her ears. 

I don’t understand this feeling, she thought to herself. But...

I don’t not like it.

Nina knocked on Masu's door quickly, tugging at one of her ears as she bit her lip nervously. How did she and her idiot brother always get in these situations?! She supposed it was their fault for starting a magic fight in Ava's home, and now they were in a sticky situation. Niko was holding onto the spellbound Ava, who had turned into a Toddler, with the added features of a floppy eared rabbit. "Rowan will kill us if he finds out about this" She muttered to herself.

Masu opens the door with her usual, “Hello~ How can I help you?” She’s greeted with the sight of the twins looking as guilty as ever with...

“Is that... Don’t tell me that’s Ava.”
