Indigo slowly made her way out of the Bell Hotel. She had had a bad start to the morning; she ran out of butter for her toast, she had slipped and fell on her way out of the bath and her tea was uncomfortably sweet! Just an overall unlucky day.
Her head pounded lightly; though whether it was because of the fall or the ridiculously sweetness of her morning tea, she had no idea. But it was enough to make her contemplate taking the day off, and she disliked taking days off. But she decided against it; one last chance.
Cautiously, she made her way towards the town square. One of her last duties of the day was to retrieve a couple of Yokmir monster drops for a traveling requester, though ultimately she wasn’t quite sure today was the day to fulfill this particular quest. Especially with her fortune... or rather lack thereof.
Still, she pushed herself into gradually walking the southward road from the town gate, her gaze almost permanently glued to the ground. Her mind filled with miscellaneous thoughts, she hadn’t noticed the figure walking towards her before she --
Though Indigo only but caught a glimpse of the stranger she had walked into before they were only but another fading silhouette walking into Selphia.
Green eyes and dark auburn hair-- though she had only but blurred visual memories of these two characteristics, they filled her mind. Overflowed--
She hardly remembered anything about this stranger, but her ears felt warm at the thought of them. Of only that.
How peculiar. How uncomfortable.
She rubbed her cheek fervently as she stared at her shoes. Her hand pulled at her collar. Her chest felt both swollen and empty. She could almost feel her heartbeat ring in her ears.
