One of our team mates, Jessica Percifield. Known as Jess in smaller circles posted this to instagram and will be posting shortly to her blog sandiegojoe.tumblr.com on her "Press-off" with her friend and neighbor turned guest blogger (crossing fingers), Matt Myers. They compared aeropress techniques playing with variables such as paper filter vs. stainless steel, inverted vs. upright, recommended tempature vs. manufacturer's recommended temperature.
Matt travels all over Californian and Arizona as a bike equipment wholesaler and used to bike professionally back in the day. In his off time he's helped organize the EOD Warrior Undefeated 2-Day Ride in years past. During his travels, he often brings home gifts like Cartel Coffee's Yirg Z (pictured above) to share with his fellow coffee loving neighbor whenever possible.
Rumor has it, Cartel Coffee is coming to San Diego, but Jess could not get her sources to "spill the beans" on a date. That will just have to be the subject of a future post.
Happy Tuesday everyone!
