Taejun scoffs. What a stupid request. What point is therefor him to name three of their albums?He’s the artist, not them. He’s released more than enough for them to know andthey’re his friend. They should know what he released and if they didn’t, thatwouldn’t be a true friend, now would it? Well, he’s joking—mostly. He thinks.Okay, maybe he does mean it, but regardless—they’re still his friend, somewheredeep in his heart.

He shakes his head and allows a smug smirk to form. “Why don’tyou name three of my albums instead if you’re my friend?” He asks in reply.

He leans back and rests the back of his head against thepalms of his hands. There could be a possibility of answers. Ace has managed torelease a total of seven albums and there were other groups similar to them.This would be a challenge—or so he’d like to think.

“So? What’s your reply?”

He pauses midsentence.The discussion of his group’s album in production halts and Taejun’s gazeimmediately drops to the lower half of his body. He sees nothing. His parka andsweater covers the waistband of his pants—there’s no way he could’ve flashedthe girl. There’s no possible way—his sweater hasn’t risen up (it’s cold, whythe hell would he allow his sweater to rise up on top of that allow her to see his underwear of all things)and he made sure to be covered before he left the dorm. But he should know bynow: Eunbyul is a piece of shit.

He came here for a good time and now he justfeels attacked—he’skidding, mostly.

A huff escapes and helightly smacks the back of the girl’s head. “Are you fucking with me right now,Byul?” She probably is—she always does. However, he’s used to it by now.

Their friendship haddeveloped something akin to a love-hate relationship. Tough love as some wouldlike to say, but he trusts her. She’s one of the few he genuinely trusts. Noteven his bandmates can compare to his friendship with Eunbyul. Rather, that’ssomething he’d like to believe.

“If you wanted to seemen’s underwear, should’ve watched a fancam instead,” he mutters, glowering atthe girl. “Okay, but if you reallysaw my underwear, what color is it?”

“What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your loved one than by taking a week-long vacation on the Han River? For a limited time, room rates are going to be 75% off! Book now!” 

It’s not normal for such a new hotel to become that popular, especially in such a short amount of time. Ads are taking over television and radio, and rooms are booked in record time for the week. Yet, Seulgi is under the impression that there might be something rooted a bit deeper than a simple hotel stay. There’s a gut instinct that’s telling her something’s amiss, and her intuition tends to be spot-on. With so many people occupying the hotel, she could only wonder what would be happening on property. Intending on getting to the bottom of the situation, Seulgi devised a plan, something that would lure out whoever would be able to explain what was happening. 

As she stepped foot onto the hotel grounds, Seulgi had a feeling that something she was looking for would be there. Dressed decently in a modest sheath dress, she attempts to look as if she’s staying at the hotel and looking for her special valentine while she roams the different floors and hallways; everyone else was dressed similarly, and it was important to blend in, after all. She wasn’t quite sure what she would be looking for, but all Seulgi knew was that she needed to find something at the hotel. In an effort to keep from bringing too much attention to herself, she turned the corner the moment a throng of couples made their way down the hallway, instead slipping into an elevator with the doors about to close. “Ah-” she breathed out, sliding in just in time for the doors to shut after her. Turning to face the other person in the elevator, Seulgi gave a quick bow of her head in apology. “Sorry… Do you happen to know where in the hotel would attract the most people?”

hold onto your memories

As war began to rage in earnest between the gems and those rebels who preferred the Earth, rulers began to glance left and right for any hint of spies within their own ranks. Fear ran rampant, and many a gem that showed even a hint of rebellious tendencies ended up broken or locked away. 

Emerald was surrounded by them. Row after row of shelves held the confined gems of those that Blue Diamond had decided were just valuable enough to keep around. It was impossible to tell how many of them were actually guilty of treason, and how many had simply said the wrong thing at the wrong time. 

It would be nice to be able to say that she wasn’t guilty, but the truth was that Emerald herself had tried to fight for the rights of Earth. She’d never had the guts to actually join the rebellion and fight outright against her kin, but trying to sway the mind of a ruler with words apparently wasn’t much better. And now she was trapped forever, locked into the form of a small monocle so that others could still use her abilities without her participation. 

Forever seemed like a very long time.

Writes over his forehead and cheeks "I give people things I randomly find on the ground"

He holds still while the other writes across his forehead and cheeks, and he has a hard time guessing what the other could have possibly written. He has to remember to keep up the act of shyness and he quickly puffs his cheeks, his brows furrowing. “What did you write on me? It was something nice, right?” He fishes his phone from his pocket and holds it up, though the letters are backwards. It takes him a few moments to finally figure out what the other has said, and a sudden blush colours his cheeks, though this time it is filled with genuine embarrassment instead of feigned shyness. How had he found out? He couldn’t have possibly known the truth, right? “Wh-what are you talking about? Those flowers were for you! I thought you might like them and that’s why I gave them to you,” he huffed, skirting around the truth without outright lying. It was a specialty of his he planned on exploiting for as long as necessary, and he slipped his phone back into his pocket with an unhappy pout. “If you wanted to deny me, all you had to do was say so, my feelings will be okay…”

“Who did you get all these roses for?”

The roses truly were a surprise for the angel as well, for he’d padded outside in the early hours to find them situated outside his apartment door quite prettily, and there were exactly a dozen of them. He had no use for them, nor did the bouquet come with a card of any sort telling him who his anonymous donor was. Maybe it was a mistake, and the flowers weren’t really meant for him? Or possibly they were, and the card was lost in transit? He could think of no one who’d send him flowers, though, and he had no real use for them except to maybe see how many could withstand a couple jolts of electricity. As he picked up the vase gingerly and inspected it, a door rattled down the hall, signifying someone coming out, and his curiosity got the better of him as he stood frozen to the spot.

“Oh? It’s you!” The angel perks up at the familiar face that comes into view, and he quickly pads over to the other, only to be questioned about the flowers in his hand. His attention is brought back to the roses at hand and he blinks, a thought flashing through his mind at the same time a smile does much the same across his lips. “Oh these?” He places on his best act in hopes of being able to rid himself of the flowers he doesn’t need, complete with a shy look down at the flowers and a blush right on cue. “They’re for you,” he says sweetly, holding out the vase. “I know it’s sudden and I don’t really have a reason to give them to you, but, er, I wanted to give you these because I like hearing you play the piano all the time. Keep up the good work,” he murmurs, eyes flashing behind dark lashes.
