I guess the thing that I hate the most about those cynical solutions that suggest the best thing to do is to lean into stoicism and not allow yourself to be happy because of the sadness that would come from it is that it doesn’t really question why you have to do that in the first place. and that makes sense because it doesn’t exist to push the system!! it’s a way of living within the system!!!!!!
