If you go by the moral(?) idea of vegan I guess, it's produced by an animal -> contributing to the exploitation(i guess) of the animal, vs actual term where it's more questionable. ayy pokemon!

Technically bulbasaur and the bulb itself begin as separate organisms. But since the bulb’s photosynthesis provides energy to bulbsaur, I’d say that practically it’s like lichen-- multiple organisms functioning as on organism, especially since the bulb/flower organism seems to be vital for evolution, nourishment, and maybe reproduction. (will an infant bulbasaur flourish without the seed produced by a female venusaur?)
OH MAN THO can you IMAGINE Pokeverse vegan twiter arguments about eating bulbasaur produce? It would be BUCK WILD.
