Rules are a basic Q&A, and the OC wheel settled on Thomas, so here we go with the southern farm-raised gay boy that wound up a PI in the 1950s with Becks at his side. And then died. And then was brought back via magical means to the current world.

What is your favorite thing to do to avoid responsibility?
Go out chattin'. Grab a coffee or tea or a drink, dependin'. Go on a walk. Cook somethin'. I guess. I don't tend to avoid it much, as between me an' Becka someone had to do the responsible things.
If you could choose anyone in the world to be your sibling who would it be?
Easy. The gal that's practically my big sis already: Miss Becka. She's been there for me as much as I've been there for her.
What is the most sublime thing you have ever eaten and why?
That first cheeseburger Becka an' I shared after finally securing our freedom from the vamp that controlled her an' tried to kill me. We burned her lair down an' then got burgers from the only place open that early. First taste of real freedom either of us had in a while, an' it was just about onna the best things I ever ate.
What was the worst day of your life?
Well. I was out on my luck when I met a lady at a bar that offered me a job. Nice, simple, easy. Paid enough for a few days' worth o' food. Shoulda seen through it. Didn't. She got me comfy with her jobs before she changed the rules. Set me up to take a job where I was a boy-toy for a high-roller an' I couldn't say no once I figured it out. Then she revealed the real scheme. The same dirt she had on the roller was dirt on me, an' if I didn't shape up an' do what she said she was gonna use that dirt to bury me.
What’s your worst nightmare?
That my pa ain't dead.
If a monster asked you your worst nightmare what would you tell it and why?
I would tell it no, and get away from me. I don't need my worst nightmare to be used against me in any way if I can help it.
Would you give away secret information if tortured? Be honest.
Probably. I can hold out for a bit, probably longer than people would give me credit for. But even I got my limits. Do my best, though.
Who could you trust most with a secret?
Becka. Hands down. She keeps her own secrets well enough, an' she's kept hell of a lot for me, too.
You have been caught somewhere you shouldn’t be! Quick, what is your excuse?
"I got a bit lost, think I was lookin' for the bathroom. Help a fella out?"
How good is your sleep schedule?
Pretty good now. Was a little harder back in the day, never knew when a case would come find ya. But things are a bit more steady these days, an' so's my sleep.
Do you have any siblings? If so, is your relationship good?
Yeah, got siblin's. Oldest of four. Our relationship took a blow for a while, but I got the chance to talk things out with my younger brothers recently. Think we're on the way to a better relationship. Woulda tried to to the same with my sis, but she died before I could get there.
What’s the toughest time you had to endure growing up?
...That's...I mean. Growin' up was tough itself, I don't know that there was a toughest time. We just got along the best we could. So long as we kept outta pa's way when he'd been drinkin' and kept our voices down we were alright. I will say it got a bit more tough when I figured out I liked boys instead girls like everyone said I would. I didn't see the harm in it, but they did so I kept my head down much as I could. Got kicked out at fifteen when I was caught foolin' around with a boy. Had to leave town to keep myself safe.
What’s your relationship with your family like?
Not gre- well. It's alright now. Got a chance to talk with my brothers. Sis is gone, parents too. Issues with my pa, an' my ma did the best she could under the life we lived. Kept in touch with her for a while after I got kicked out. But now that I am where I am, managed to start havin' a better relationship with nieces and nephews. Got a bit adopted by Becka an' her family too, an' that relationship is goin' as well as it can. They're good people, an' they treat me right good.
Do you have any hobbies? If so, what ones?
Oh sure. Always liked takin' photos, but never really found the time to do much with it. Busy life of a detective an' all. Like cookin' too, if that counts.
Do you dream often? What do you dream about?
Sometimes I dream about life back home. Sometimes I dream about cases. Sometimes I dream about silly little stuff. I...wait, we're talkin' about dreams at night, right? Not like...wishes or daydreamin' right?
Have you ever been in love?
Yeah, thankfully. Pretty sure it was love that first time when I was fifteen. Been in love since then. In love now, actually. Best feeling in the world.
What is your least favorite thing in the world?
Unidentified goop. On the floor or on the door handle of a bathroom or just...anywhere. If it's slime and I don't know what it is I...I just can't stand it. That or wet socks. It's a toss-up.
What is your pet peeve?
Crusty food an' stuff on dishes in the sink. If it's been there long enough for food to get hard it's been there too long.
Would you consider yourself different?
Different than...? Myself at a younger age? Sure. Than other people? I mean...for a long while I did, but then I got to this century an' all the sudden there's parades celebratin' people like me an' months talkin' about the history an' people all walkin' in the streets an' holdin' hands and celebratin' anniversaries...so...I used to. But now I'm thinkin' I'm not quite as different as everyone back in my time wanted me to believe.
How far would you go to save a loved one?
I'd risk my life for theirs if it came right down to it.
Would you team up with your worst enemy if it was your only option?
As much as I'd like to say yes, I'd have to give that a no. I'd find another way to do whatever is we'd be doin'. Somehow.
What is the worst insult you can give?
I, uh...I dunno. I ain't very good at 'em. I suppose maybe tellin' someone I don't wanna see their face again.
What is the nicest thing someone could say to you?
"Let's have a cup o' tea"-Or whatever their poison is-"an' chat." I love it. Possibly the nicest thing for me to hear. Or...onna the nicest things, haha.
Are you a jealous person?
Nah. Don't see the point, really.
Have you ever committed a crime?
Mmmm....next question.
Are you neat or messy?
Haha...I guess that depends. I do like to keep things in their place, an' I'm certainly a bit more tidy than...some...but I don't consider myself to be a super-neat person. Or a super-messy one. I guess I'm just...middle?
How do you feel about crying? Let it out or hold it in?
Let it out. Always let it out. Maybe sometimes you gotta hold it until you find a place or a person that's safe for you, and there ain't no shame in that. But always let it out. Feels better when you do.
Who do you live for? Why?
My best friend an' gal I love probably the most dearly in this world, aside from my ma, which is to say Miss Becka. We crossed paths at...well, the darkest place in my life. Onna her lows too, if I remember right. An' by dark, I mean I was ready to take myself outta the picture. Half in a bottle and ready to pull the trigger when I tripped over her in an alley. She looked on the out as bad as I felt on the in. I wound up takin' care o'her as much as I could, an' she returned the favor when she smashed the bottle I was tryin' to drown in and took away my gun. After that we sorta...helped each other crawl outta the dark. An' life got better. I owe everythin' to Miss Becka, so if that means I'm livin' for her, then that's what I'm doin'. Live for myself too, o'course.
Who has betrayed you most?
Well. Had a fella I was real close with. Could gone steady. He told me he felt the same. But when I made move to actually go steady he broke it off with me and took up with a woman the next day. Lovely gal. She coulda done better. I would say my pa when he kicked me out, but...well. Let's just say his view on bein' gay wasn't a surprise, so neither was his kickin' me out when he found out I was 'onna them'. So. Probably the guy that turned tail.
What style of accessories do you wear? Is it willingly?
It tends to be silver. A few rings and a cross. It's willingly in the way of I put it on because I chose to. But, um. I chose to because I was tired of vamps sneakin' up on me an' me not knowin' about it until they pulled fangs out. A quick handshake with a stranger saves me time an' worry.

“I can wrap bandages…not cook fancy eggs. I can do scrambled eggs however!”
7: How do you show fear? Anger?
“If it’s not through my ears it’s my avoidance…or yelling. But sometimes my face may not match my voice; sometimes I end up in tears. Or when I’m so panicked and scared if someone gets close I may bite them and just act all wild. Like, my hair and fur poofs up, my eyes are dilated, I’m just acting like a terrified cat…It’s so embarrassing…and oh god I’m always getting sick after the fact…it’s a mess.”
8: What phobia would you describe yourself as?
”Hmm maybe Ailurophobia or Agoraphobia…”

“When it’s not a ton on there I’m okay…but…I have my limits. I saw a patient be rolled over to the ER with quite a few bullet holes…then later on a nurse wanted to go out for boba…I had to swiftly decline…”
