One big big lesson: LEARN THE LOVE LANGUAGE of that other person.

Learn how they need and want to be loved.

For some it's going on a crazy night out, involving in their activities, hanging out with other people.

For others it's a quiet night in, doing certain activities together, bonding, cuddling.

It's the support that matters. If you do not love them in the way they feel it, they may suspect that the love isn't there.

And the most important thing is willingness to actually go out of YOUR OWN way for that significant other.
