behind the scenes: main save

i had the idea to kind of disclose some of my thoughts and ideas surrounding storytelling choices and events! i’ll be including these under the tag #behindthesims 😊

the reason i started going down this storyline path with mitchel is because i was trying to figure out how to distinguish this pregnancy from other pregnancies in my save file. i figured it wouldn't make sense narratively for him to be horrified at even becoming pregnant as a man when other dmab/cis male characters have conceived in this save file (here's looking at you marcel). so i tried a more creative approach to the horror element based on real world parasites :3 i've been drawing inspiration from a few, such as the pork tapeworm and mosquitoes!
