Finally got around to getting more pictures. My lovely cousin who happens to love photography, was nice enough to take these progress shots for me.
Yoga blocks are my favourite tool for modifying poses. Doing yoga on grass, and dead grass at that was kind of weird. I’m so used to doing it in my bedroom on wood floors or outside on the deck.
My yoga routine has been fluctuating. But I am still managing to hop on the mat a few times a week, for at least 20 minutes. And boy does my body thank me for it. Paired with eating healthier on a more consistent basis. I hope that my good moods, sleep, and posture keep improving!

In the yoga biz, the standard way to gain credibility is to be an RYT-200. That means Registered Yoga Teacher with 200 hours of training. Well, I’m an FYT>200; that’s a Fat Yoga Teacher at over 200 pounds. I’m very conscious of the fact that there aren’t a lot of us. Two-thirds of Americans are overweight or obese, but that statistic is not reflected in yoga teachers or in yoga classes. I wish that were different.
