I entered a sweet li’l realm of niche paradise this past weekend at #UkuleleYOU - “A Soulful Musical Retreat for Women” - held at the breathtakingly beautiful #HallelujahFarm in #ChesterfieldNH. Ukulele enthusiasts from as far away as Puerto Rico and Missouri and as near at Vermont, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire gathered to strum, sing, reflect, connect, and play. 🎶 Imagined and organized by the very lovely Lisa McCormick, this heart-fueled retreat included some great journaling sessions, #YogaforMusicians, nightly “Grand-Slam Jams,” and enlightening workshops for music lovers of all abilities. Roger and Sandy, Hallelujah Farms glorious hosts, prepared and served delicious food all weekend long, many of the ingredients plucked right from their garden on their 500-acre farm. Thanks to Lisa McCormick, sparkling co-facilitator Erica Zinter, Roger, Sandy, and all the radiant new uke-loving friends who showed up to experience something utterly different and divine.
