It's Yuri on Ice rewatch day, but I have to (quickly) finish two assignments, so I'm going to have to try very hard not to let it distract me... Let's see how long it takes for me to give up on getting anything done.

i forgot that he finally clinches the eros routine by picturing himself as the woman in the love story and not the man including picking out an androgynous outfit and asking his ballet instructor to train him to move more femininely. which is so awesome i love gay people gender. but what i didn't notice the first time around is that when he's thinking to himself during the performance he uses watashi at the beginning and then atashi as he gets more and more into it. hell yeah

#i wish the show had done more with that because i loooove gay people blurring gender lines but i will take what i can get #yoi rewatch

ALSO. i think i’ve pointed it out before. but the fact that yuuri calls himself a “dime-a-dozen” skater when he literally made it to the grand prix finals 😭 as in. the competition that literally only six people per discipline make it to. it does say something abt his self esteem at this point but i digress
