FAKE DATING ALERT
I’ve somehow made it this far without yoice making an appearance so time to break that streak. I actually have two thoughts about this one, but the other one I might actually try to write because I am weak.
Pre-series Yuuri/Chris, because what’s life without rarepairs I guess? Chris had a bad break with someone in the skating circuit who runs into him at an event and wants him back. Rather than let it progress to an ex hookup, which would be a really bad idea, Chris says he’s seeing someone else. Who? He thinks fast. Of everyone here he knows, there’s one person who he could be dating without it being weird for no one else to know, and who’s a total catch. (it’s Yuuri. We’re all shocked.) Only afterwards does it occur to him that A) Yuuri’s probably not gonna be thrilled about any rumours going around, and B) Chris has to clue him in fast.
Turns out Yuuri is willing to go with it. They’re friendly, even if he doesn’t know Chris super well, and okay this is kind of embarrassing—he’s probably going to freak out later in private, but hey, it’s not like anyone back home pays too much attention to skating gossip, and maybe it’ll distract people from when Yuuri invariably screws up in competition, and anyway it’ll blow over quickly enough when Chris invariably finds someone he actually wants to date.
But Can You Guess
Featuring Chris’ Big Unexpected Crush, Yuuri being mistaken for being cold and standoffish, Sara “Questionable Advice” Crispino, moveable drinking ages, fledgling eros, and one (1) Actual Date.
@annundriel and @junemermaid both tagged me on the “post the last sentence you wrote (in a fan fictions context)” meme so without further ado:
"I think I'll let you find out for yourself," he says, and Yuuri stills under his touch but, this time, doesn't pull away.
if you read this post you’re gay tagged

Sara “Questionable Advice” Crispino PLEASE I'M LAUGHING
Look, Sara’s romantic experience has largely been “WE HELD HANDS AT SCHOOL AND MICKEY CAN NEVER KNOW” so she is determined to live vicariously through her friends, regardless of whether they’re actually dating or not
for the fake fic title meme: dumpster o'clock
Viktuuri apartment AU. After some indeterminate time of living in the same building without realising it (or without Yuuri realising it, at least) they meet while simultaneously taking out the garbage. In a series of less and less convincing coincidences they continue to run into each other once a week at the same time when taking out the trash. Phichit is thrilled by this development since it means he doesn’t have to. Yuuri is mortified, but not enough to stop. Viktor’s only regret is that it’s very hard to exude inherent allure when carrying a full garbage bag. but boy does he try. Possibly a 5+1 format. “Five times Viktor Nikiforov’s cute neighbour took out the trash, and once he took Viktor out instead.”
Featuring: getting to know each other through what they throw away, emergency dumpster diving, irate neighbours, someone’s unfortunate ex, dog envy, two holidays, and one (1) trashy movie tragically ignored in favour of makeouts.

"Get him away from your protective older sibling and then follow your x-rated dreams" "sara this is not what I asked" "listen yuuri do you want my help or not"
technically her advice was entirely unsolicited but she’s not going to let a little thing like that get in the way of yuuri following her dreams
