I just broke off my friendship with the only other person I knew IRL who's fictionkin. They kept saying the only reason I "think" I was Ruko is because they're canonically intersex and I'm intersex in this life. Four years of them invalidating me, arguing with me, trying to get me to "drop" this kintype because "it's so obviously projection". I don't regret walking away from them.
