If you had to give Yonghua a plot for his own story, what would it be?
Yosuke would still set the MC for a matchmaking date with Yonghua.
Yonghua would still be the gentleman he is, and the MC would soon find herself feeling comfortable around him. He would pick up on the fact that something was bothering her, which would cause the MC to confess her anxieties about being involved in Yosuke’s matchmaking business.
Yonghua would then offer her a proposition–he would pay Yosuke’s fee and tell him that MC was only to be exclusive with him, and in return the MC would have to pretend to be his partner to get Yonghua’s business associates off his back about settling down.
His business associates would not be accepting of Yonghua’s new “girlfriend” and would try to set him up with the daughter of a famous CEO of a partnering company. This other woman would eventually try to harm the MC, causing Yonghua to feel guilty and break off their fake relationship.
Yonghua would then pay the rest of Yosuke’s contract, which would grant the MC her freedom to go and live her life without having to worry about his threats. The MC is at first relieve and grateful, but then realizes somewhere along the way that she’s in love with Yonghua.
She races into the press conference where Yonghua is about to publicly announce his relationship with the other woman, until MC boldly confesses her feelings in front of the everyone in attendance.
Cue Yonghua rushing over to her, and cameras flashing as they snap evidence of the new happy couple wrapped in a passionate embrace. The other woman would try to threaten them, but Yosuke would pop up with incriminating evidence of something she did, forcing her to leave Yonghua and MC alone.
