ERIN!!!!! long time no talk ahahahaha i havent been checking tumblr regularly these days but im super glad i did today!! i hope youre doing well with school, the pandemic, & everything else! the hshs finale was so sweet;; it really just put things into perspective that we often get inside our own heads too much,,,, when in reality, it could be as simple as taking time to reflect & being honest about our feelings😌

dang when you look at this chapter as a whole, it sprouts from a single question of whether or not theyre going to the q&a. i think it's really amazing how deep both of their thoughts can go from such a simple question, but!! i can totally understand overthinking/analyzing certain moments with certain ppl, no matter how small or large those moments were :') also i just love how they tease each other back and forth��

the fact that jk be sleeping with someone who has other dates to attend to says a lot about him;;;;;;;;;;;; jennie can do whatever the heck she wants but i find it funny if she assumed jk would drive her to her next appointment or something�� i just feel for the reader bc it's understandably hard to unsee jk with that other girl now;;;;;;;;;;;;

ahh the bday messages,,, tbh thats why i hide my bday date on socials like fb and snapchat. im not big on celebrating my own bday in the first place, but it's interesting to see who will still reach out when they arent prompted with the bday notification ahhahahaha also kinda sad that jk felt a little obligated to send the message :/ and wowoowwow doesnt surprise me that he needs to keep his mind off of things by going on dates with other girls ;;;;;

JFA;WOEIFJ WOW KARLS REALLY CAME THROUGH WITH THAT COMMENTARY. IN THIS HOUSE WE STAN KARLS AND KARLS ONLY !!!!!!! honestly, this entire series is basically a mind game of overthinking and eternal pining;;; is jungkook even into jennie????? does he even want a relationship???? does jennie like jungkook as more than just fwb?? why is the mc so sensitive??? 

i didn’t really intend to make it seem like jungkook felt obligated per se, bc i guess in a way he was returning the favor, but it was more so to portray one of the reasons why the mc is so attracted to jk. bc even though he isn’t really in close contact w her anymore, he’s thoughtful enough to reach out. to her, it means a lot considering jk has never been the type to reach out to people. it’s the subtle things about him that she likes, yknow?

SO. i dont exactly agree with jungkook playing not one not two but THREE girls at once, but i was genuinely worried for the boy when he said life wasnt going well for him :/ assuming that jk and yn arent ending up together, my main hope is that y/n's presence in jungkook's life will have helped him for the better after they go their separate ways! bUT on a lighter note i loved the scene where yn was putting her undergarments in the washer and ofc jk was there ahahahah loved the chapter!!💖

hopefully its a good wtf, like a mindblown "holy shit thats amazing��" kind of wtf LOL but i totally feel you on that type of feedback :/ any feedback is appreciated but it hits differently when readers go the extra mile to point out the specific parts that make them go "omg" or "cute" so that we as the writer know what worked well in those 23k words. "wtf" doesn't always give us enough context;;;;;;;

AHAHAH let’s hope?? i’ve been writing on this site for so many years now that at this point i really dgaf and i’m lucky enough to have super kind and vocal readers (like you!!) but like..... i know it’s so demoralizing for other writers so idk i’m going to be loud about it (bc apparently ink nemesis wasn’t loud enough) and hope that it does something now that i’ve gotten over the fear of being #cancelled 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

ok hear me out: ink was one of my faves since day one, but i think i have??? a new favorite???? called his side her side??? i just really like how the reader approaches each interaction with jungkook. getting to see her thought process during their conversation is intriguing to me bc it's so in the moment. at the same time, it also feels like a reflection back on those specific moments. like in hindsight, maybe things wouldve been different if the reader or jungkook were more forward (1/2)

but there was no way of knowing that at the time. thats where i personally feel the most angst with this series!!! bc a girl can relate😔✊ (2/2)

i think ink will always be my baby so i’m grateful you still remember it 😔😔💖 BUUUUT I’M ALSO HAPPY TO HEAR THAT HSHS IS YOUR NEW FAVE? truth be told, i really just wanted to try a different approach/style of writing. i don’t think i’ve ever written a non-chronological series before but it’s great to see it paying off! the idea that reflecting on things in the past knowing what you know now can either make things much sadder or sweeter hits home to me as well 😔😔 thank you for reading as always karls!!
