Now he was standing god-knows-where in front of him after almost getting run over himself. Seokjin was warm and obviously not dead but he seemed to not have a single clue who Yoongi was. How could Seokjin be alive?

The walls of the mortuary were pressing in on Yoongi. They had been inching closer and closer on all sides and he never noticed until it was too late and he had no means of escape. He tried to make himself smaller, wrapping his arms around himself and the picture of Seokjin they used for the funeral, to delay being crushed like a bug. But it was useless as the walls dug into his shoulders first, being the widest part of him, and he felt them snap into his torso under the intense pressure. He screamed in pain, his voice echoing in what small space remained of the mortuary, but it got cut short when the walls started squeezing him around his chest and his back. His ribs shattered into tens and hundreds of tiny rib pieces and he felt the shards puncture his lungs. He wondered how it was possible for him to still be alive, or at least conscious enough to have felt everything as they happened, then his heart exploded and he was left with nothing.

Seokjin’s death happened on the 1st of December, 3 days before his birthday. Yoongi was going to surprise him back at their apartment with a ring and a proposal but he was run over by a driver who was too inebriated to feel any sort of guilt or responsibility over what they had done; the road was painted a bright red that night. He had received the phone call a few minutes before eleven, refusal to believe settling in the recesses of his brain. His instinct told him to call Seokjin himself: “Hello?” “Oh, thank god, hyung! You’re not gonna believe what just happened. The police called and told me you were de—” “Hahaha sorry if I made you believe you were actually talking to me, Kim Seokjin. This is just my voicemail! Leave a message after the beep.”

Yoonjin Week!

Day 1 + Day 2: Early YJ + Student AU

the AU: Yoongi takes Holly for a walk and ends up in a park he has never seen before, he realizes there's a very cute boy there playing with a small white poodle and thanks his parents, God and Holly for letting him meet that adorable boy with cute full lips. So since then, every day after school Yoongi takes Holly for a walk to that park and sits on a bench far away from the boy to just… look at him, he starts crushing hard but he doesn't know anything about the guy.

One day, the boy's dog attacks him. Well... his shoelaces, and his crush comes to the rescue, thanks to Janggus's killing instincts he gets to know him, Seokjin, and starts talking to him every time they meet at the park which is almost everyday. One day Jin informs him that he goes to a boys school and that he's kinda sad because before he went to a mixed school and in Valentine's Day he received a lot of gifts. Yoongi thinks Jin is a showoff but he has an idea. On Valentine's Day he goes to the park without Holly, he has a plan, he's going to give Seokjin chocolate with a little letter inside it, he's basically confessing in "The Coolest Way Ever" because Jin isn't going to know until he gets home and open his bag and he's gonna fall in love with Yoongi immediately.

So he goes to the park, waits till Jin gets away from his bag he left on a bench and puts the chocolate box inside of it, then he hears a soft voice saying "Is that chocolate... for me?"

Weeks after that Jin tells Yoongi he actually doesn't like chocolate but the chocolate Yoongi gave him was the most delicious thing he has ever tasted.
