When you make posts that use the word women/woman for people who experience misogony you're excluding all the trans and nonbinary people who experience misogony, you're telling us that to have access to feminism and activist communities that we have to label ourselves women even if we don't.

And then if you use the word women to talk about body functions such as menstruation you're also excluding trans women who don't experience those things.

Please find alternative language when you aren't referring to yourself or specific people because it's really tiring being misgendered because cis people won't think things through.

Every one who falls short of cis men experiences some level of gender discrimination based in misogony. Gender discrimination will never be simple enough to fit into a binary so you need to take that into account when you interact with gender related activism and justice.

when we talk about our biology and the oppression we face as women, that doesn’t mean we are automatically implying trans men or nonbinary people don’t exist, that they don’t experience misogyny, that they don’t have female bodies or even that they can’t call themselves nonbinary/trans men. when we talk about our biology and oppression we face, we use the word woman because for us it’s accurate, descriptive, fitting and perfectly encapsulates the target group we refer to. women, aka adult human females. people with any personalities, identities, body types, looks, feelings, experiences - but the reproductive system of a female. trans men and nonbinary-identified females are indeed a sub group of women, and trans women are not. if that makes you feel bad (even when we are not even directly addressing you), then you have to deal with it, because we have a right to name ourselves in the ways we fucking see fit. you do not get to police our language just because you don’t personally feel comfortable with the words woman or man and what they mean to the majority of people.

you can use the word trans man, trans woman and nonbinary as much as you fucking prefer. you can ask people to be considerate and use those words of you. and you can do whatever cosmetic treatments you think helps you cope with your dysphoria and makes you pass as the sex you would prefer to look like. but you don’t get to redefine the words womanhood and manhood and demand everyone to use your definitions instead.

we were here first, and we need those words to describe our lived realities, exactly in the ways we already did. don’t step into our community and try to change the rules when we haven’t invited you to do so.

Indeed, that’s the part I don’t get and would like to get an answer to. I am a woman who sometimes gets attracted to gay men. I know that they by definition are not attracted to me, and my personality or looks have nothing to do with that. I have no issues with that because I… can take no for an answer, I’m not a rapist. But it’s not even just that. If I realize that someone is going to lose all their attraction to me once they figure out something important about me, such as my biological sex… I am going to lose my attraction toward them too. Like… it might not happen immediately, but it will happen. The idea that someone is turned off by something about me is a HUGE FUCKING TURN OFF FOR ME TOO. ESPECIALLY if I was genuinely afraid of them theoretically becoming violent.

Vaginoplasty is a cosmetic procedure that has no function, no purpose and is technically a health hazard for both you and your partner. Your neovagina is 0.0% the same thing as a vagina, and like, 0.5% the same thing as a dick. Most people who might have said yes to interacting with healthy genitals of whatever kind, would still turn you down for this reason alone.

But you know that. You know that your dating pool would be smaller if you were living an authentic life and actually communicated with your partners openly. So instead you come up with excuses to continue your deception. To you, the only thing that matters is validation and you yourself.
