After leaving Yusei's place, Jack just drove. He didn't have a destination in mind, just to go-- he had to get out of there, away from that garage, away from everything that plagued him and made it nearly impossible for him to breathe.
It was only after several hours, once the sun had long since set and most businesses and shops were closed, that he came across a place that seemed safe to him; the shop that that girl, the Card Girl, kept. He parked his D-Wheel and let himself inside after finding that the door remained unlocked, despite the lights in the shop front having been extinguished.
Jack moved to call out for her, but stopped himself when no voice came from his throat. That was right--he'd been so busy fuming that he'd even forgotten about that.
The bell on the door rang when it closed behind him, which would likely alert her to his presence, but Jack didn't care; he just sank down onto the floor behind the counter and held his head in his hands.
