Yoshikasen VS Seiyoshi

My hyperfixation on Yoshika Miyako has reached the point where I feel the urge to write a big fucking post about how I believe she handles relationships and other things. This is my blog and I get to be autistic about characters I like!

(For clarification’s sake I kinda ship her with Kasen but it is more complicated than “they kiss” and I will go into it later (also a lot of these are definitely within the context of the fic I wrote the other day so go peep that if anything I say is kinda confusing I guess)) (I might update this whenever I have a new one lol)

(Writing this bracket after writing half of the following list, yeah this definitely requires context of my fic after the first two points lol)

- Ok starting with important headcanons. Hella asexual, hella demiromantic, she/it

- Her love language is very much physical affection. She will cuddle and cling on to Kasen as much as she can. Although she doesn’t kiss, she prefers biting. Obviously her bite will turn others into jiangshi, but when done affectionately it’ll just loosely teeth on someone or bite clothing/hair/etc.

- It’ll trust people easy, but can’t really make any strong bonds with anyone anymore, her one with Kasen only being a thing because of its existence when she was alive.

- She doesn’t hold any ill will towards Seiga. It fails to understand the wider scope and implications of what Seiga did, but is grateful to her for granting it a second chance at life.

- Due to being under Seiga’s orders for so long, she doesn’t often act by herself still. When not accompanied by someone it’ll just sit there, staring vacantly at nothing.

- Kasen is constantly encouraging her to break that though, letting her try new experiences often and writing with it as often as she can. In fact Kasen is basically always looking after her, doing her best to make sure it takes care of itself as well.

- Kasen does occasionally attempt to use the Ibaraki Box of a Hundred Medicines to help Yoshika. If there’s ever anything particularly unwell with her, it heals her right up, but it’s incapable of reverting her back to a living human. Can’t heal what isn’t an illness. Yoshika is barely affected by the personality altering effects of the box, only becoming a little bit more bitey.

- She is prone to dozing off easily if under-stimulated. This has seriously scared Kasen multiple times.

I like to think it’d be funny if the reason Kasen was into mountain climbing was because of Yoshika and not Suika/Yuugi.

The old moon disappeared behind the clouds... Kasen’s heart became cold... in her chest when Yoshika’s voice sounded once more, forming familiar words.

I just am really fond of the idea of Kasen and Yoshika owning a Dim Sum restaurant together and Yoshika is the one scolding Kasen for sneaking a bao to munch on.

"Royal envoy takes a day off to be a wannabe geologist, gets tooth pain from trying to identify rock by biting it and is now left with a diet of rice porridge and shaved ice for the week."

Bonus, a scrapped image that was the original Day 7 but I redid it because I didn’t like the end result. 

I probably shouldn’t have procrastinated as long as I did because some of the pieces now I don’t really like as much when I initially finished them, but I wouldn’t mind redrawing some of them (because I really like the concept) at a later date.
