Just saw this well executed TV advert (video below) by a South Africa company called Capfin. It talks about enabling borrowers to get loans an an easier way by just going to a reatil store (Pep). It ends with the line "Because life is too short to go to the bank"
It says it all. Dealing with banks, even here in Zimbabwe, is a nightmare.
It reminded me of an article we posted today on Techzim about a startup that's enabling pay TV subscribers to pay their subscriptions at the local supermarket. before them, you had to go to the bank! Their "Life is too short to go the bank" is in their name, YoTime.
