since Grace technically takes place in the player’s mind (i think???), imagine when the ett goes to John’s world they don’t just end up in Grace, they end up in John’s version of Grace, facing off against manifestations of his sins
and also imagine. when Exp and Visitor wake up in John’s world, a manifestation of whatever’s going on in his mind, they don’t quite look like themselves while they’re there. they’re still clearly Exp and Visitor, just altered to reflect who or what they are in John’s mind, how he views them, how he feels/thinks about them
Exp and Visitor are very confused about this weird change, and John is just a little too embarrassed about it to properly explain
