i feel it’s worth pointing that just like how “woman character who is physically strong =/= strong woman character” it also goes for stakes in your story. Like yes apocalypse scenario is huge stakes but imo what shows more nuanced writing is being able to turn something arguably small into high stakes by developing your characters enough so that audiences can understand and feel why something is a huge hurdle to them
