I will never understand how we got to the point we're at with schizophrenia/psychosis and it's representation in media (I actually do so pls don't explain it to me LOL).

When I was a child with psychosis I was in constant fear because I thought everyone around me was secretly a bloodthirsty werewolf that would eat me when I wasn't watching.

The very rare instances where psychosis DOES cause violence shouldn't be counted as the fucking norm. I certainly don't think it means it's okay to demonize those who got violent because of psychosis either. More often than not, those people still did what they did out of fear.

Psychosis can sometimes be HORRIFYING for the person experiencing it, let's remember that.

My professor is saying that Harry Potter doesn't make logical sense because they speak Latin and there's no reason for the magic to only work specifically with Latin or whatever made up version of Latin is used in the books/movies.
