The plot in "You've Changed, Man" is moving so quickly that it kind of glosses over the fact that at one point in there, the four humans and Michael willingly offer themselves up for an eternity of torture in order to make the afterlife a little less cruel for everyone else?
When you consider where they each started, it's truly incredible that this is who they've all become.
No Earths were erased during the making of this episode.
This show has me so emotional. I still can't believe we are so privileged to have a show like this. A show filled with fart jokes, as well as genuine commentary on humanity, and hope for the future. The chance to learn and grow is something we all deserve. And it's something we don't have to die to start doing
Jason’s insistence on Michael actually writing down that cancelling Earth is a bad idea because it would be a bummer is incredibly charming.
Jason playing with the clicker heightened my anxiety.
I've been rewatching the Good Place season 4 with my fam, and I just have to say: Disco Janet is quickly becoming my new fave Janet (over our OG not-a-girl, Janet)
I knew there was a reason why I say 'solid' so much these days XD
“Okay, fine. Gonna make me admit it. Fighting you is the most fun I've ever had. I mean, you know. You corkscrew your first eyeball, and you're like, man, I can't believe they're paying me to do this. By the trillionth, it's like I should've just been a teacher. And then you go and get the warm fuzzies about your little humans, and something something changed. I was having fun again. I'm not sure I'm ready for that to end.” (x)
