howdy Ms. Heresy! im wondering, i kinda wanna learn what catholicism is like. actually about, yalls practices and that sorta stuff, do u happen to have any recommendations on resources?
I recommend reading the US Catholic Cathechism book for adults. Most people will recommend the universal one but it’s so long and boring and wordy. That’s definitely one to buy and have on hand.
Also buy the YOUCAT.
I’d also get a book explaining Mass and the different rituals and prayers.
But if you’re really serious about learning talk to a priest. You can usually make an appointment with one at your local parish.
