Psst. Hey. Jeannie here- the Founder and Executive Director of The Made for More Project. I thought with all our new friends on our page, now is a great time to answer the infamous question... ❤️ How did I come to create The Made for More Project? What was the inspiration? 🧡 Well... I'd be lying if I said there is only one reason. I will say, one of the biggest influences was my childhood. I won't go into all the details but it's no secret our home was very poor and very broken. My escape was books and art. 💛 Then last year, I attempted my very first Halloween children's event, in which I saw several kids that were only able to participate because it was free. They didn't have costumes or money to play games. They were so ecstatic to participate. It reminded me of all the opportunities I missed as a kid. 💚 And from that moment, The Made for More Project was born. Our vision is to empower kids through STEAM, so they see their worth, find a safe & creative outlet while teaching skills that will last them a lifetime. We do this by offering free community events. 💙 Our children are our future. And EVERY child deserves to feel included.
