"Any plans for getting us out of this one?" Eleven hissed. He was tied back to back with his previous regeneration on some grimy pirate ship. What had originated as a pleasant day on the beach had quickly turned into a kidnapping. During the kidnapping, Ten had decided to use the psychic paper to fool the pirates into letting the two "off the hook". Unfortunately, the paper named them as two Monarchs from France and England and the pirates decided to hold them captive for ransom.
"I'm working on it," Ten replied, although he was completely detached from their current predicament. He had been looking overboard at the dark waters beneath the ship and had thought he'd seen something.
"What are you looking at?" Eleven craned his neck to get a better view of the water.

Okay, she really needed to stop doing this to herself. Tessa had gotten lost in the human world... again. Now, she knew that she wasn't the best at navigating through the human world, but this was ridiculous. She was at the edge of some rocks near the sea. She sighed as she sat down on the rocks and pulled her knees up to her chest.
"Well, I'm more pathetic than I thought," sighed Tessa. Sure, she wasn't really looking for a dream catcher this time, but it didn't make her horrible sense of direction any better. Looking down at the water, Tessa could have sworn that she saw some color flash in the light.
"What was that?" she asked aloud.
