A Weapon Forged in Anger by mithen. oneshot. moody broody thorin, some angst. In Laketown, Thorin forges a new weapon for himself to replace the sword that the elves took from him.  

Hidden Desires by lilithiumwords. oneshot. at beorn’s house. smutty af and amazing. Bilbo catches an eyeful of sweaty, half-naked Thorin. Thorin catches Bilbo. Sex ensues.

A Smith and His Forge by acervate. multi-chaptered WIP. AU but still middle earth, the company are merchants/tradesmen, bilbo and thorin are adorkable. Bilbo's door gets jammed one day. Luckily, a company of dwarves just so happened to have set up shop in front of the old smithy.

A Bouquet Made of Steel by silverneko9lives0. oneshot. besotted!thorin. fluffy and adorable!!! Thorin is a blacksmith in the Shire and happens to have a crush on a certain Hobbit who comes by once a week. He decides to take the risk and tell him how he feels, starting with an iron forged rose.

The Wandering Smith by VileVenom. oneshot. AU where thorin is exiled from erebor. fluff, domestic. Thorin goes into exile and spends years as a wandering smith and itinerant labourer until he finds his way to the Shire and meets Bilbo Baggins. They have a romance and settle together... Eventually, however, a group of dwarves arrive in the Shire, led by Gandalf the Grey, in search of their missing prince...

Burn and Shiver by PsychicPineapple. oneshot. post-botfa, everyone lives/nobody dies. super cute fluff (the second part has all the sex and bottom!thorin). For the prompt - Bilbo finding Thorin in the forge, working. Also, the sweaty King has no shirt.

Lost He Wandered Under Leaves by serenbach. multi-chaptered. AU but still middle earth, thror was overthrown by gror and thorin’s line lives in exile. fawn!/deer!bilbo. (bilbo is a deer, of sorts, is what i’m getting at). In an attempt to provide for his family over the winter, he reluctantly accepts an impossible sounding task - to hunt down an enchanted deer that lives in the Old Forest that borders the Shire, and make armour and weapons from its hide and antlers. i love this one.

Seasons in the Sun by Sans_Souci. multi-chaptered WIP. AU but still middle-earth, pre-canon. mild angst, elopement. Young Bilbo Baggins meets Thorin Oakenshield and his sister-sons when they visit the Shire for work. Somehow, being a respectable hobbit isn't so important after that.
