Can we have some our favorite couples angsts (childhood angst)
Of course Anon! Hehe I seriously need to get back into writing! So!! What’s better than some…ANGST
It was a rather dim Thursday evening, the rain had been lightly drizzling, each droplet seeming to race each other down the window frame of Tiffany Valentine's home. Normally she’d watch the insignificant droplets stream down the glass, however, today was different. Charles Lee Ray, or Charles Lee Loman Reinhardt as she had recently learned to be his real name, had been in her presence to accompany her, dulling the feeling of loneliness she often felt in her home. Charles simply sat beside her watching the droplets beginning to grow heavier, as the rain began to pour. He knew well that he should have been home by now, especially with the growing rainfall...however, his mother and brother were both dead, only leaving his father and him. Lukas Ray had often spent his time at the look pub drowning away his pathetic sorrows, leaving his remaining son alone at home. So, thinking this day was no different the young boy chose to take a visit to his best friend's home.
It was a normal house, with three rooms for three residents, 3 beds, widows, a couch, a sink, and old curtains decorated by some odd distorted floral pattern scattered across each one. And that was it. Everything a house needed, but not a home. There were no familial photos, the only ones that had been scattered across the house were that of Ms. Valentine. She dressed in somewhat revealing clothing, well intended for people much younger than her, though Ms. Valentine didn't seem to get the memo. Her smile was there, however, little emotion came from it, her face powdered and covered in a cakey mask of cosmetics. There was one photo of Ms. V that stood out to Charles, one that gravely disturbed him, he felt at with every step he took the photo's eyes would follow, and with every glance, he took her eye would widen as well as her mouth. Distorting themselves in horrific ways. He gently took the frame and set it face down, hiding the cosmetic-laced women.
"Charles come on this way! This is my room"
Hearing his best friend call to him he quickly scurried across the house, and right by her side, practically glued to her. He didn't want to spend another moment in the open area of the household. Tiffany's room looked decent, somewhat homely, with photos of her and her family, along with shiny lip glosses and doll accessories. If he was being completely honest, he wasn't fond of the dolls in her room. He wasn't quite sure why, perhaps it was with how close they resembled humans, without actually being sentient. However, since he was a guest and she was kind enough to allow her into her room, he held his tongue burring any negative comments he had. He was curious as to why she had so many.
"They make it feel less lonely" she whispers as is she read is mind.
"Huh?"
She pointed a finger at one of them. "The dolls. They make it feel less lonely"
The young boy gave a silent nod, yet understanding nod, and sat on her bed, allowing his eyes to wander around her room. Other than that, her room, felt warm and somewhat welcoming. However, the feeling didn't last long when he heard the front door swing open and heard the clicking of heels coming closer to Tiffany's room. The unsettling feeling in his stomach only began to worsen seeing his friend's expression contorted to one of fear and immense worry. She yanked on his left arm, practically pulling him off her bed and to his feet. Before he could utter a single phrase, he was hushed by Tiffany with her putting a finger to her lips. The young brunette shoved him into her closet, tossing some of her blankets and pillows onto him, making sure he could not be seen. He still remained silent watching Tiffany's bedroom door swing open thing the silts in her bedroom closet.
Charles bit his lip until it bled, he finally had got to witness the cosmetic women in person. Her features were similar to that of a porcelain doll, with her face pale, to the shade of ivory, makeup heavy, and beginning to crack at her cheekbones. Her body was slim with her skin tightly attached to her bones, and her heels high giving her a decent 2 inches. However, she may have been able to stand taller if her posture wasn't hunched, making her appear like an old witch, like the ones he'd seen in the movies.
"Tiffany...what did I tell you able smiling with your mouth open?"
Her voice caught him off guard, almost causing Charles to let out a gasp. By the sound of her, he would have assumed her voice cords had been severely damaged. By the sound of it, she had the voice of a heavy smoker, with hit deep and static, cracking every few seconds. Through the slits in the door, he saw Tiffany's head lowered in shame, while her mother stood over her, glaring viciously.
"That I shouldn't smile with my mouth open"
"And why shouldn't you?"
Charles leaned closer, curious as to why Mrs. Valentine would make such a comment. Tiffany was a pretty girl, her hair soft and maintained, often styled with a headband or bow, her outfits cute, mainly consisting of skirts and blouses.
"...Because I ruined the photo's, with the gap in my teeth"
"...Exactly"
This reasoning caused an eyebrow raise in Charles, he thought her smile was adorable, it was sweet and cheerful...and contagious. Whenever she revealed her pearly whites, he found himself grinning along with her.
Tiffany shuttered at her mother's touch, feeling the woman's nails grip deeper into her soft unblemished skin.
"Smile Tiffany"
The young girl let out a quiet sigh and gave her mother a fake and what appear to be rehearsed smile, this time concealing her whites.
"Perfect"
Satisfied, she released her daughter from her cold grip, dusting her hand off, and letting both of her newly manicured hands at her sides.
"And Tiffany I'll be out for the rest of the evening...dinner's on the stove, have your sister heat it up for you"
The young girl gave a slight nod, and watch her mother exit her room, not bothering to shut the door behind her. Once she was gone, Tiffany let out a sigh of relief and shut her door motioning for Charles to come out of her bedroom closet. The boy kicked off all the heavy blankets and pillows and emerged from his friends' closets, shaking himself off. Before the young girl could speak, Charles cut her off.
"Does she always treat you like that?"
Tiffany just stood, swaying her body from side to side, and rocking up and down on her heels. He took her silence as a yes and stepped closer to her noticing a small dot of crimson on her lightly freckled cheek.
"You're bleeding"
Upon hearing this Tiffany raised her hand, and lightly ran it across her cheek, feeling the warm liquid on her fingertips.
"Oh...I guess I am"
Charles looked around the room and spotted a box of tissues and grabbed one from the box and cleaned off the blood from Tiffany's cheek.
"Do you have any band-aids?" He asked still staring at her cheek that appeared to have another crimson bubbled forming.
"Um...In the bathroom, under the skin she be the first aid kit"
Charles nodded and scurried along and quickly spotted a bag with a white cross on it. He snatched at and hurried back to Tiffany who was now sitting on her bed staring at the ground.
"Got it" he showed her the bag as proof and sat by her side. Grabbing an alcohol wipe and disinfecting her face. As he rubbed the wipe over the wound, he heard faint grunts coming from Tiffany. He didn't blame her since he too hated applying alcohol to his own wounds.
He tossed the disinfectant wipe into the trash can and gently applied the band-aid to her cheek, making sure to apply it with care and ease.
"Better?"
Tiffany didn't speak, she just sat staring off into space, her expression dull, and full of sorrow.
"Why does she hate me?"
Her question immediately made Charles feel uncomfortable. He despised dealing with emotions...especially his own. They were always so complex... no logic around it ...people weren't logical, numbers were...not people. However, he felt bad for what Tiffany had to endure so...he decided to make an exception.
"People are complicated...sometimes...they do things...that don't make sense....no matter how hard you try to make things better...."
He hoped his answer would suffice because that's all he could think of at the moment. He felt his body tense, feeling Tiffany rest her head on his side, he allowed it....for now at least.
"Thank you for being my friend"
He gave her a shy pat on the back.
"....Thanks for being mine..."
Hello it's me again (the one that writes headcanons longer then their height) I'm kinda shy to ask for it but if u have time and if it's okey would u mind writing a angst fic with someone of the headcanons I write please ☹️🙏
Oh hey!!! Sorry it took me so long to respond to this! I was a tad bit busy!!! But I'm free now and sure!!! Sorry if it came off if I was ignoring you! I wasn't!!!! Just stuff needed tending to hehe!
It had been about a week since Tiffany first wore her braces. She didn't mind them at first, occasionally the metal wiring would poke her cheek from time to time. However, the worst of it was the soreness in her gums. They would ache constantly and make any bite of food absolute agony, eventually, the pain surpassed but her mother's constant belittlement did not. At first, Mrs. Valentine thought it would be great to finally have her daughter's imperfect mouth...corrected and no longer draw attention to the gap in between her front teeth, but upon realizing the metal braces drew more attention to her youngest daughter's young mouth caused sever regret to Mrs. Valentine. So, the only way she thought to solve the issue was to have her young daughter remain silent concealing her flawed mouth from the rest of the world.
Tiffany wanting to remain obedient silenced herself, her warm cheerful smile no longer present. This didn't go unnoticed by her best friend Charles.
"How come you've been so quiet lately?" He spoke leaning in towards Tiffany, raising a curious brow.
The young Valentine simply lowered her head, allowing her long brunet hair to conceal the sides of her face before speaking.
"I got braces" she whispered her voice shaking with each word she uttered
This got a smirk out of the young boy, now grinning revealing his metal braces with red bands causing them to pop from his mouth.
"Welcome to the club" he chuckled fiddling with his mechanical pencil, but nothing changed from Tiffany's rather defeated sunken posture.
"What's wrong? Ain't nothing wrong with being a metal mouth! You of all people should know that since you're the one who told me that little phrase"
Tiffany didn't move or sit up, she still sunk into her chair, her face still hidden.
"Hey....you okay?"
Tiffany tilted her head, tears beginning to stream down her face, her lip quivering.
"...Why does my mom hate me, Charles?"
The question made the young boy fall silent. He understood how she felt thinking back to his father.
"Well..."
"...E--Everything I do...s--she finds something wrong with me....I--I don't know why she hates me...."
Charles simply sighed and sat down next to her, gently placing his hand on hers, and lean his head down making eye contact with the young girl.
"I don't hate you"
His sweet response caused a smile to form across Tiffany's face, spreading from ear to ear, only for the young girl to shield her mouth, lowering her head saddened.
"Why are you doing that?" He questioned weirded out by her covering her mouth.
"My mom said I--"
"Your mom's full of shit. Now come on lower your hand, nobody cares that you have braces." Chucky raised his hands forming air quotes.
"Or that "you're not perfect"....Nobody is! And besides these assholes are all self-absorbed, they're to worried about themselves to even notice...."
His kindness caused her smile to widen once more, and this time her hand did not cover her canines.
"And besides....I like your smile"
Charles' compliment caused the young girl to bless and nod a slight thank you, hugging him tightly.
"Thank you"
HI! Welcome to my little blog! Everyone Is Welcome Here!!!! This Blog revolves around the Ray Family! Feel free to send in requests if you would like! Just so you know the new Tv Show isn’t canon here and the newer movies aren’t 100% canon either. The main purpose of this blog is to make Character growth for Chucky and him becoming a family man and realizing it’s ok to show emotions. The Twins are canon and are TWO separate people. And THE MAIN thing is that nothing ever happened between Chucky and Sarah. And Tiffany never turned Chucky into the cops.
How It All Began
Ok, let's do this.....hopefully it's better than canon.....
6:34 AM
A young Charles Lee Ray flung his eyelids open, revealing his crystal orbs. Already hating the upcoming morning. Another day closer to death as he described. He forced himself to sit upright despite his soreness from his last interaction with the man across the hall. His father. He threw off his mustard-colored sheets, most of them worn and with several holes in them. He wasn't one to complain however, he was glad he had sheets, despite the awful condition they were in.
Charles got dressed, buttoning up a sandy-colored long sleeve, and khaki pants. One of his more decent and formal outfits and one of the few that covered his entire body. Concealing what lay underneath. He grabbed his maroon bookbag, one of the straps beginning to rip off and the zipper coming undone. It did its function, no need for complaints. Not at the moment at least. He hustled down the stairs quietly creeping past his parents' room careful not to disturb them. Primarily his father. He's the one to thank for Charles's light footing and distrusting cautious behavior.
He left the house checking his grandfather's watch.
6:47
Charles quickened his pace, walking along all the dead leaves, hearing the satisfying crunch under his feet, with each step he took. He checked the watch again, his primary focus on time, hating the thought of being late.
6:52
He had a 10-minute walk to school, and the school didn't start till 7:45. Having plenty of time, yet the boy remained at a fast pace. One of his habits, he supposed. Traffic began to pass by blowing the decaying leave at his feet once more. The school's building began to appear, but the sight of it didn't bring the lad much joy. He entered through the rickety old gates, that seemed to be there for well over 20 years by the earsplitting sound they made, each time they opened. He checked the watch again.
7:10
20 minutes to spare, his mood seemed to brighten by his early arrival and being able to dodge the incoming traffic of students. He quickly rushed to his building, and went to his classroom, sitting in the front row. Where nobody liked to sit. Allowing him to avoid his peers. He wasn't much of a talker and remained to himself and usually picked on his accent at the time. He sat there waiting for the bell to ring, and for the rest of the students to enter. He rested his head on his desk while he waited.
BRINGNNGG!!!
The loud ringing of the bell made the boy nearly jump out of his seat. He pulled out his notebook and flipped to a blank page ready to start his school day. He caught hateful glares from some of the other boys passing though the rows. He returned the gesture only to be stopped by the teacher.
"Class!! CLASS!!! So, good morning, and we have a pleasant surprise!!!! I'd like you to me about your new classmate Tiffany Deliah Valentine. Lovely last name by the way"
"Thank you"
Charles took a moment to examine the newcomer. He studied her straight brown locks, gently falling to her back accessorized with a baby blue headband with white lacing, her warm chestnut eyes, having a glow to him, her rosy cheeks, and her cupid lips. His trance was broken by her approaching the desk next to him.
She gave him a shy smile and a flustered wave. He didn't smile back and looked down at his blank paper. The class continued like normal except for a girl sitting right next to him.
The bell rang thankfully, and he quickly left the classroom, sensing that he was being followed. He ignored her, hoping she would go away, so he didn't have to interact with her. She wouldn't leave him alone for the whole lunch.
"Ok.....What do you want"
".....nothing, uh......Hi! I'm Tiffany Va----"
"I know"
"......and you are?"
"......going to me alone"
Charles turned around tossing the his bag over his shoulder.
"Wait!"
She reached for him and grabbed his bag. Causing the strap to snap falling to the floor, causing his notebooks and papers to fall out.
"........."
"I-----I'm so sorry!!! I didn't mean----"
Charles held his hand in front of her. Silencing her.
"Just go"
"B--but"
"Leave"
"Can you just give me your name so I can apologize? Please?"
She said helping him pick out his supplies.
"....If I tell you will you leave me alone"
She nodded her head, waiting eagerly. Slightly shocked to hear his accent, but found it adorable.
"Charles"
"I'm sorry Charles"
"You can apologize to me by leaving"
Tiffany lowered her head but noticed the bruising on his arm since the sleeve rolled up.
"Charles, what happened to your arm?"
The young boy froze immediately hiding his arm. Tiffany reached for him, but her wrist was firmly grabbed by Charles and was tossed aside.
"Don't touch me."
"I---I just----"
"EVER.......... you saw nothing. Understood?"
Tiffany was about to protest but caught his eye and shut her mouth.
"Leave me alone, don't look at me, don't talk to me, you know what don't even think about me"
"Can't we just be friends?"
"No, people disappoint me. You're no exception. Now piss off"
Tiffany's lip began to quiver, and her eyes began to tear up. She watched the boy walk about with a slight limp.
He was pissed off cursing to himself in German. Irritated by the girl's persistence. He put some distance between him and her. He ignored her sniffling and heartbreaking cries. He didn't care. He went to class and noticed how she moved across the room. Away from his peripheral vision. The school day was finally over, and all the students were dismissed.
"HEY CHARLIE"
He sighed knowing who was behind him.
"Charles"
"Huh?"
"MY NAME'S CHARLES"
"Sorry I couldn't pick that up from that accent"
Charles clenched his fist, gritting his teeth.
"Do you know when to shut your mouth?"
"Well at least people can understand me"
Charles lunged at the boy and the two wrestled on the floor. Two other boys joined in and began beating Charles to a pulp. Leaving him on the ground motionless. The only witness being the fair-haired girl, Tiffany Valentine. She rushed over to him, checking for a pulse. It was there but faint. She draped his arm around her shoulder and the two went back to her house. Luckily Tiffany lived nearby. She knew her Mother and sister would be out of the house. She set him on the couch and ran some warm water. Filling it up into a large bowl, using a towel to clean the dried blood off. She waited for him to come to. She felt bad, no wonder he was so defensive.
She heard him groan and saw his eyes flutter open. Revealing his glistening blue eyes.
“W—What happened? Where am I?”
“Oh Hi Charles…. You’re at my house”
“What happened?”
“You got hurt by some kids. I brought you back to my house”
He rubbed the back of his head and groaned.
“WHAT TIME IS IT”
“Uhh, 4:54”
“I——I GOTTA GET HOME!!!”
Charles fell off the couch hurting his side. He ignored the pain and limped his way to the door.
“WOAH WOAH WOAH! Take it easy. You got beat pretty bad”
“I—-IF I DON’T GET HOME MY DAD WILL!!!”
“You’re dad?”
He froze, he wasn’t supposed to say that out loud.
“NOTHING JUST L—-LET ME GO!!”
“Charles you’re shaking”
“J—Just uhhh p—-p—-please uhhh”
“It’s ok just try relax and breathe”
Charles was trembling and shaking violently. He followed Tiffany advice and tried to steady himself. He was able to compose himself.
“……..”
“Are you ok?”
“F—-Fine…”
“So can we huh start over?”
The boy looked up at her and sighed.
“Yeah, Hi, I’m Charles. Charles Lee Ray”
He held out his hand waiting her to shake it.
“Tiffany…Tiffany Delilah Valentine, nice to meet you”
“Likewise”
TAKE THE HINT!!!!!
"You two are sure in here a lot"
Chucky and Tiffany looked over at the librarian and smiled.
"Yeah, I guess. It's nice and quiet in here"
"Yeah, it's peaceful"
"I've known about Charles for a long time but what about you little lady?"
"Oh sorry! I'm Tiffany!"
"So, are you two going to the school dance later today?" She said raising an eyebrow looking at the two.
"Well, I wanna go!" Then she looked at Chucky hoping he would take the hint.
"What about you Chucky?"
"Uh, I don't know?" She frowned and internally facepalmed. How much more obvious could she get?
"I really wanna go!"
"Then go if you want to." She facepalmed again and let out a sigh. Only one way left to convince him.
"Maybe I'll ask a boy to go with me!"
That definitely caught his attention.
"Who!?" He quickly turned down the urgency in his voice not wanting to seem like he cared.
"Uh, I don't know. Maybe Eddie? Or Mike?"
Chucky clenched his book tighter and his eye twitched a bit. Tiffany noticed a shift in his body language and decided to tone it down a bit.
"Or maybe I'll just go by myself"
Chucky sighed in relief.
"Well if you're going maybe I'll go just to make sure you don't go crazy"
FINALLY!!!!! She celebrated internally glad she finally won!!!! She knew making him jealous would work.
Some Young Chiffany:
Chucky wanted to do something nice for his best friend. Thinking of something friends would do for their best friend, and pushing them on a swing seemed to be the number one choice
Tiffany had been sitting in it kicking her feet into the dirt.
"Wanna push?"
Tiffany smiled and nodded waiting for Chucky to push the swing.
"3 2 1 "
He pulled the seat back and began pushing Tiffany. Tiffany was blushing and enjoying this, and so was Chucky.
Sinister Thoughts
Chucky had been making himself a sandwich with the few pieces of food he had. Before he was about to throw the knife in the sink, he took a second to admire it. He traded the edge of it with his finger, taking notice how sharp it was. Then he thought of his father and linked the two fantasies together.
“no”
He shook the thought from his head, he couldn’t do it. He was too weak, he wouldn’t be able to go through with it. His expression zoned of again as he thought of ramming the blade right through his torso.
“Stop it”
He can’t go through with it. If he did he’d have to be smart about it. If he did what would happen to him would he go to jail, be sent away never to be seen again? He tried to block out the thought from his head. What would Tiffany think after what he’d done, he didn’t want her to think of him a monster. Like he thought of his father.
“Charles”
His fathers voice, snapped him out of his thought and back in to his miserable reality. A rush of fear went through his body as he looked over to his dad.
“Y——yes?”
“Hand me a beer boy”
Chucky silently obey knowing full well what would happen later that night, but if he didn’t do the task he would be punished and set straight with respect as his father put it.
Chucky lifted the knife again and looked over to his dad and began walking towards him, but stoped himself.
“no, not now”
Chucky backed away and placed the blade into the sink and washed it.
