Day 24: Books

Young Emmet on saturdays would turn over in bed expecting to see his brother, only to remember that it was the weekend and Ingo was in fact at the library learning as much as he possibly could about either trains of pokemon.

Emmet was more of a hands on learner and he would learn from his brother after he came home with a few choice books. Or they'd go to a museum in town.

today however it was raining, and that meant Ingo would be late coming home. He didn't like being away from his brother to much so he grabbed a lunch box stuffed it into his bag and pulled the umbrella out of the hitch before making his way down the street.

Emmet loved the pitter pat of the rain as it hit his umbrella. His jackboots patted the wet sidewalk as he walked along. He took a deep breath as he passed the bakery and took a sample of the spicy chicken a very trusted restaurant owner gave him, and a few other people around him. He didn't like it to much, it tasted like soggy chicken nugget.

He walked into the library 20 minutes later and looked around. Leaving his umbrella by the door he walked in and looked around. the library in Nimbasa City was huge and that meant three stories high. But Emmet knew just where Ingo would be.

He walked through the library and over to the section on trains, only to hear someone talking about pokemon. He paused and looked at the man with graying hair and glasses.

"I'm telling you I saw it, a pokemon that looks like a train!" This definitely caught Emmets attention. He felt a tap on his shoulder as he felt his brother join him by his side.

"He has been talking to the professors about it for about an hour now." Ingo told Emmet, Emmet looked at the weird drawing of the worm and train looking pokemon. Emmet picked up the book the professor put down and tapped his chin.

"So like...an insect type?" Emmet looked up at the professor. The professor shook his head.

"No no...it was metal." The professor smiled at Emmet pushing the book back toward Emmet. "But Insect types are fun too." Emmet picked up the book and looked at the cover. Emmet knew this pokemon. He loved insect types.

"Galvantula." He looked up at his brother with a smile.
