Young Integra: So basically you speak with the dead when you're having an inner therapy-talk.
Alucard:
Alucard: First of all, kiddo, this isn't a therapy talk. Second... nine out of ten I wouldn't even wanna talk to the living. Why should I talk to the dead?
By: Nankakureman
Integra didn’t get a good first impression of Alucard, safe to say, after he smooched the other corpse in the dungeon with him.
He’ll be fine. Probably.
Alucard: You can trust me.
Little Integra: I've been in forests less shady than you.
The night’s air was cool, yet it did not deter the young girl. She lay atop the beast, staring up at the stars. Her wide eyes scanned the sky, watching the twinkling lights with intent. She didn’t know why, but the night sky always had fascinated her. She ran her small hands through the beast’s thick fur as she pondered what to say.
“Mr. Beast... do you like the stars?” She asks. The beast does not reply, as she expected. He never did but it did not stop her from conversing to him.
“I don’t know why, Mr. Beast, but whenever I look up there, I like to imagine my mother watching me. Helping me. Maybe she helps me with you?” She ponders. The beast lets a sigh out in reply, his tail thumping the ground lightly.
The girl props her self up using her hands as she aimlessly counts the many blinking lights.
“Do you think she is out there? Watching me? Maybe she is...” She says quietly. Her conversation ends on such a note as she continues her counting. The beast opens its ruby eyes. He always listened, knowing his master needed someone to listen. He huffed slightly. It was such a lovely night.
Do you think I should write more for this AU?
