I'd love the idea of Yan Mi using Ah Sahm to guarantee her protection, therefore her survival. And despite making it look like she's deeply in love (and maybe a little bit of it could be true, like...let her be confused and dwell with these yuxtaposed emotions; he's hot, he's treating her good, he seems sweet under that thug suit, she's having a good time), all she's moved is by disgust, helplessness and a deep sense of vengeance towards ANYONE who's part of the Hong Wei, for how they treated her father and used her.

I know I'm dreaming because this show, besides being cool and really good, it still falls into stereotypes and ykwim.
