Fun fact about Xerachnoid, thanks to the original poster being halftones in most prints a freind of the artist stated that they thought the unnamed pilots face was totally obscured by the visor because each life in game was canonically a new pilot. Thanks to this misconception when the artist worked on the next game Queen Xerachnoid, the artist made it so that the new Protagonist Captain Cosmos would, have a face obscured by his helmet as a key element to his character design.
