when i was a tiny tiny mouse

i want to know what happened to me

i’ve never really talked about this, but, i was in a house fire when i was a child. from that i developed an intense fear of fire. if i even saw a fire on the news i would completely fall apart and throw the worst tantrum you’ve ever seen in your life. as i’ve gotten older the fear has lessened but it’s still there manifesting in obsessive-compulsive behaviors. there’s no real “point” of this post i’m having a rough time with hallucinations and i didn’t want to post that without a little context behind it idk

edit: i forgot to mention that the hallucinations are fire-related, i’m trying to get complete thoughts out

i look at my baby pictures and i can't help but cry. looking at old photos feels as if i'm looking at a different person. it's hard to believe that i was ever young, it feels like i've lived a thousand lives. the child in my baby pictures deserves love and healing. i wish i could take care of her.
