My first non-Mando Pedro character for y’all!! Dio was the first ‘early days’ role I ever saw and at first I was laughing but man… he’s got my heart these days. I painted this awhile back but it’s still a goodie!! I swear I get so caught up in the textures, the tiny lines and colors… they’re truly my favorite thing and I have so much fun throwing them around. Hello Pimo!

I have a random question for you. Frankie is starting high school in the fall. What do you think he wears the first day of class?

Probably not a Standard Oil cap but who knows?

Based on how old I think the guys were in Triple Frontier Francisco probably went to high school in the late 80s early 90s.

Let’s say he went to school in 87’ I’d say first day of school he’d wear a white shirt with a flannel layered over the top. Blue jeans and some black and white chucks. He’d have his hair combed back out of his face to show off his gorgeous cheek bones. He’d probably be so nervous first day that he’d keep to himself until he finds someone in home room to talk to everyday.

But if he started high school on 93’ he’d have more of a relaxed fit. A loose white tee and some baggier distressed jeans, most likely those same black and white chucks. He’s wearing a traditional Chilean necklace his mama made him. She says it’s good luck to wear it despite his grumblings about wearing jewelry. ( but maybe his mama was right because he makes a lot of friends his first day)

Now if you were asking for current times, I don’t know how the kids are dressing these days but Francisco Morales starting school in fall 2024 is wearing a nice crew neck sweater and some relaxed fit sweat shorts, he got some purple and yellow new balance shoes while him and his mom went back to school shopping.

I hope Frankie has a great first day of class no matter the decade. 🤍
