Day 7: Seasons
Remus and Sirius
Young Remus and Sirius are so cute! Why can't they just be an actuall thing!?!
Hosea: So what have you learned from this?
Arthur: Dutch can't bake.
Dutch, covered in flour: John can eat e. coli.
@skymma liked for a morning after starter!
Oh no what did they do?
Well, it’s not like Gaz doesn’t--know what they did, of course, that part is obvious, but the why and the what were they thinking were a little muddier.
Even though Gaz is positive that John wasn’t thinking at all and that John doesn’t care.
So maybe Gaz is just overthinking the fact that he just slept with his best friend. That John Constantine just took his virginity. So much for keeping sexuality under wraps, or his crush on John, or--or anything, really.
Gaz clears his throat a little, worming away. They’re only still in the same bed because there is no other bed. But maybe Gaz can just. Crawl off into a corner and sleep on the floor or something.

23. … shouting down the phone
“Piss off, you miserable old bastard!”
It’s all the bloody usual, with the lies and the empty words and the nonsense out of his dad’s mouth. Not that John thinks for a moment his old man’s sincere when he rings him up once in a blue moon to quote-unquote check on him.
There’s nothing to be checked out, for starters. Not for Thomas Constantine, anyway, as far John’s concerned. His life now is nothing he wants his father involved in. His life now is his own and he’s going to keep it that way, since his childhood bloody well wasn’t.
And then there’s the fact that dear old dad didn’t give a rat’s arse back when he had a say, so why would he turn around one-two-three years later?
It’s all a damn laugh, innit?
It’s his ma’s birthday, of all things, and it’s a date John only knows because of his dad’s ability to transform into even more of a miserable bastard every year. To pick that date to check on his son, as if the man’s any damn right to pretend to be a father, that had set off alarms in John’s head well before the snap.
He’s not aware of Chas witnessing it, either, too caught up in his own frantic anger (and hurt, that’s always there too, that bleeding, fucked-up hurt) to hear the footsteps.
“I told you last time to stop fucking calling, d’you hear me? You can quit it with how dead ma is, mate, because you’re just as bloody dead to me.”
