Bringing back my precanon sketches & some memes to heal further from this nightmare of a game ❤️‍🩹 (bc I know we all need it)

I just love to imagine the original Unholy Trinity™ being best friends off screen and Knoth being the most confusing manipulative bastard.

Knoth and Val are fun to draw because they were ironically the closest. I'm sure Val was intended to be Knoth's successor and that's why he was raised as a secret keeper.

Knoth doesn't hide his favoritism, and I headcanon that caused a rift between his key supporters. Like Marta and Val ending up estranged bc there was competition between them. (Like Val's unused death scene dialogue implies in the most disturbing way)

It's all definitely twisted in hindsight, which shows you don't always know who a monster is until they're exposed. But maybe at some point the love was real, and that's the real fuel behind this idea ❤️‍🩹

I'm here to bless you with sketches of Outlast 2 kiddos (bc I still need to heal from the unbearable angst in this game)

I'm also here to break everyone's hearts bc this doesn't change their inevitable future 💔 (but I have no regrets bc they're all adorable)

And don't be fooled, Knoth is a terrible father. Since he's obviously the reason Marta and Val turned out they way they did. My headcanon is he picked them out as his favorites with the sole purpose to raise them into their roles. Secret keeper/Chief Deacon and Executioner. It never mattered what they really wanted. And he knew that children would never question the faith they were born into.

Closed For Maddie & Valentine

It was his day off but Valentine still found himself called to the studio that he cleaned after hours. In the wee hours of the night he could just be. Some days he just cleaned other days he would dance. His scar covered body remembering movements he hadn't done for years. Today was one of those days. As he finished stretching and went to pull himself up off the floor Val paused upon seeing a familiar face.

"Up a little past your bedtime aren't we." He said teasingly to one of his favorite instructors. Maddie was a talent and beautiful to boot so the man was always happy to be in her presence.

"I thought the last of you left a few hours back. Did you need something? Or did you want to see my pretty face?"
