Outlast characters posting on tiktok

If outlast characters had tiktok, here's what I think they'd post. I'm going chronologically (trials, 1, whistleblower, 2) and I will be bringing up tiktok slang

Trials

Leland - posts either right wing MAGA stuff or unironically posting videos to the "we are Charlie Kirk" audio

Gooseberry - Advertises her Mother Gooseberry Hour Show, probably posting small episodes of it. Or she's selling her dental drops on tiktok shop

Franco - thirst traps or troll videos, he mainly uses it to harass influencers in their dms/comments

Otto and Aurora - they'd either not know how to post (cuz they're old) or they'll make their who content about how they're conjoined twins, capitalizing off of their genetics, like QnAs and "day in a life as a set of conjoined twins"

Lilliya - Hard-core Bible content, she'd gain a ton of followers and practically create a cult, like how Gooseberry did with her kids

Easterman - Mysterious sayings/life lessons, maybe even subliminals. Like that one "you still live a life you dread" guy

Amelia - Hard-core shit talking Murkoff, full on exposing shit, putting tons of allegations on Easterman

Outlast 1

Miles - Vlogger, he posts GRWMs and "day in the life"s, maybe even posting his life on tiktok live, even if he's running from Chris

Chris - He posts stories about his time in the military and his time in mt massive, also making sure to deny any claims about the Walrider. He feels if people spoke about it outside the asylum, it could try to leave the asylum

Rick - He'd try to be hip with the kids, posting memes and 67 and stuff like that. Or he'd post about the "sigma grindset"

Martin and Twins - What Chris is worried about. He posts about his faith and the Walrider. The twins help run the page and are sometimes his camera men

Outlast Whistleblower

Waylon - Conspiracy theories. Murkoff made him paranoid so he's posting about his theories on them. That or dad vlogging about Lisa and his kids

Jeremy - Red pill stuff or, like Rick, sigma grindset stuff. Maybe even bragging about his golf scores or drink making

Frank - Cooking videos, his whole thing is food, hes a cannable, cooking videos

Eddie - Either he wouldn't know how to post cuz he's a boomer, or he'd post misogynistic stuff and proceed to cry about not being able to find a wife

Outlast 2

Blake and Lynn - Before outlast 2, they'd either vlog about them being married or do true crime, Lynn would do her makeup while she did so. After outlast 2 Blake would post about his baby, even if the baby may or not be real

Knoth - Posts about his own faith, talking about religious psychosis shit like "the anti-christ" and killing pregnant women

Marta - She's the type to post a video complaining about Knoth, but instantly defending him when anyone insults him, even if she only perceives them to be insulting them and they're trying to tell her that her conditions are crap

Val - Baking videos while shit talking Knoth or talking about her kids or the heretics, but she'd be the most tech savvy out of those in temple gate, just to spite Knoth.

I've legit just wanted to draw these three all together since this game came out and I'm not disappointed with how awesome their designs are together.

I'm drawing this game again for shadow work in an upcoming video. And I also just need to heal desperately from playing it again 👍👍

I have a headcanon/theory in which Marta is the offspring of one of the Ex-Pops in the Outlast Trials. Namely, one of the Big Grunts.

This is mostly due to her inhumane height and gainliness, which is one of the most defining traits when it comes to the Big Grunts. Due to the hormone therapy and inhumane experimentation they underwent in the facility, they suffer from a form of medically-induced gigantism, which makes them much bigger than a regular Reagent in the trials.

Since Ex-Pops were likely not to be released in the same way "reborn" Reagents were after their trials were finished, they would have remained in the facility for the foreseeable future. This does bring up the roadblock of them somehow fathering a child with somebody. I hate to say it, but Marta was likely conceived through non-consensual means with an unwilling Reagent. Murkoff staff go to lengths to let others know not to accidentally arouse the Big Grunts, particularly the male ones, due to their monstrously high libido and affinity for violence.

I doubt Murkoff would have cared about Reagents being raped in the trials, as they don't much care for any atrocities going on within its walls. When it comes to the possibility of the impregnated Reagent having an abortion, you gotta remember it's the 1950's. Birth control was barely even a perfect science back then, even with the sci-fi aspect of Murkoff's technological advances. Plus, they likely would have wanted to see what the baby would be like.

Marta would have just been another experiment to them.

The timeline adds up too, as Marta was middle-aged by the events of Outlast 2 (which was set in 2013). The Trials lasted through the 50's and into the 60's, so she definitely could have been conceived and born within that time frame and still be the correct age in Outlast 2 (of which, we're never given a specific age).

One of the detractors to this theory was the long-standing fanon involving Marta and Papa Knoth seemingly being friends since childhood, which would have ordinarily thrown a spanner in the works due to Knoth canonically being a Reagent in the Trials at the age of 21-25, in the early 50's. If they were supposedly friends since childhood, this would have made Marta being the offspring of a Big Grunt impossible.

IF THEY HAD INDEED BEEN THE SAME AGE. In reality, Papa Knoth had actually "befriended" Marta when she was still a child and he was a fully grown man. She was one of his most "intimate" and closest friends and his "best beloved", which makes me feel sickkkk. We all know Knoth isn't above abusing children and indoctrinating them with his religious dogma, so Marta would have been effectively brainwashed into swallowing his ramblings wholesale and spout them back out as if they were the truth.

Honestly, the circumstances of Marta's birth were probably so traumatizing for her mother that she abandoned her when she was very young, which allowed Papa Knoth to swoop in and claim her as one of his very first disciples. She would have been putty in his hands. Maybe he even felt a calling to her, due to them both being products of Project LATHE.

So the way I see it is:

-In the early 60's, Marta is born as the result of a non-consensual conception between a female Reagent and a male Big Grunt in the Sinyala Facility. Due to the hormone therapy and all manner of other genetic experimentation, Marta is born with a regressive form of the gigantism that affected her father.

-Papa Knoth grooms a very young and lonely Marta into his cult, thus contextualizing her dependency on him and how their age gap is explained as "childhood friends".

This isn't by any means a perfect theory but it's one that I've been thinking about for a while. It also neatly connects the games in a pretty interesting, if depressing, way.
