My May TBR
So May has unintentionally become a red and black colour theme! I keep my tbrs quite low-key because thereās nothing worse than feeling like you have to rush reading to fit in all the books you wanted to get to.
Instead I usually pick about 5 books that Iām DESPERATE to read and anything in addition to that is a bonus!
So for May Iāve chosen:
- Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
- A Conjuring of Light by V. E. Schwab
- The Secret History by Donna Tartt
- The Power by Naomi Alderman
- Rubyfruit Jungle by Rita Mae Brown
Happy readingāØ

An Almost Love
The loves
That do not culminate,
Are perhaps the ones
To mourn the most.
The what ifs
Keep me up at night,
A constant chant
That whirls in my mind.
It is so much easier
To pretend
That what didnāt happen,
Would have been lovlier than what did.
I have to hope dearly,
That our love
Would not have been final,
That we were not supposed to intertwine souls.
Yet, I have doubt.
