"Ryūjin no ken wo kurae!" It's #YoungGenji! #swankwigs - I REALLY enjoyed working on this one (so much so that I threw together a shoddy craft foam headpiece to help get an idea of the finished look), but like most "simple" styles, it was MUCH trickier than I thought! Gosh darn duck butts, man. - Base is a #Cady from @ardawigs in Jade Green— It's a really lovely, Earthy blend that works great for our little Shimada! I'm particularly proud of the short trimming at the neck! Young Genji at about 90% completion! I tried on everything on for the first time today and I'm so happy with it. ✨ The proportion and sit is just like I planned. ✨ The variety of materials and techniques I got to use were so satisfying. ✨ Everything pictured has been hand made - sewn parts and armour parts. Progress on Genji's sword. ✨ Made the hand wrapping with a sports jersey fabric that matches my scarf and under-armour, then wrapped them. ✨ Built the scabbards with 8mm and 5mm foam from @luminsworkshop ✨ The grip feels amazing 😍 Also fan service 😏😉 Next step: paint the dragon onto the scabbards 🐉 This and the wig are the last part of Genji left to complete.
