It’s been a while... but it seems like the time is right to bless y’all with another post. With me turning another year greater in a few hours, I thought I’d share a few things I have learned in this here beautiful struggle.
26 Things I’ve Learned While Being Here for 26 Years
You can’t really ‘lose’ if you learn from it
Kinda goes without saying but here is a friendly reminder.
Love hard, or don't even bother.
The Cudders had a song abt this. ’Twas pretty good
Music is everything, man.
Audio emotions I call it. One of God’s greatest creations. Appreciate music for what it is, in every form.
Life comes at you fast, but it's up to you to drive the speed limit
Never like your own pictures, it's not a good look
I mean YOU did post the picture right? So it goes without saying that you approve it? Oh, aight.
Never rush getting a year older, be the best something-year old you can be.
I remember as kids we would say we were 8 1/2 abt to be 9 in a few months. We rushed to get to the next age plateau, but did we really live in our age, the best we could have?
Never write anything in stone. Pencil, preferably.
Love your parents as much you humanly can while they are still on this Earth.
It's a good thing to be an irrational fan of something, that's where passion lies.

It is NEVER that serious.
Walmart lines are the true test of patience.
A wise man told me, you make money to spend it, one way or another.
Never let success define you. Rather your level of happiness and making others happy should.

You cannot plan life. It's impossible.
Don't spend too much time basking in your accomplishments. You're missing out on the next challenge.
Dance in the rain, unless it's during a hurricane.
Making mistakes are the best vitamin in life. It allows you to grow
Kanye West is a genius. But we probably will not realize that until he's gone.
Never think you're too big to take a small job. It'll add up
Father Time. You can never be the master of it, understanding that makes life easier
Never let anyone have the power to steal your joy.
It's dumb for someone to tell you not to like something just because they don't like it. It's okay to have a difference of opinion.
Sing out loud, even if your voice isn't the best (make sure your ad libs are on point, at least.)
Start becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable.
Give thanks, even when things go wrong.
