Takes place when Leif was a young teenager(13 in human years?).
After Matthew was hurt, Leif and him could temp residence in a desert village.
After Leif got trust from a weapon smith of the village, he asked him to be his mentor! Painful trial and error, he began to grow in skill.
He’s not perfect mind you, even as a Adult, but it’s a great stress reliever.
