Anything you're thinking of doing to your children and the ones around you, please be fair. Children know when you're being fair to them and when you are not. #childcare #lovechildren #youngparents https://www.instagram.com/p/CKUCtYrMdrJ/?igshid=c4lmio6vw0ad
Young parents on how their lives changes with the newborn , It changes a lot more than you think, and in many ways than you might suspect.
Don’t worry that your children never listen to you; worry that they are always watching you. . . . You must have read that caption a 100 times below many instagram posts, I came across it, in a rather unpleasing way. It thought me a lesson. A lesson that lives on, with me every single day (painfully so) . . . The language of communication at my house is English. Myself, hubby, grandparents, every one essentially speaks English. But it wasn't so before we had kids. . . . We decided to make the switch for some strange reason and now have become used to it, for the sake of our kids. . . . I have a toddler who is a talking little human of 2.6 years. Initially he'd repeat everything we'd say. So it was easy to be cautious. But as he grew he's just absorbing the language. . . . One day his toy broke down and he said "oh $**#t toy broke down" I froze. Such a sweet little kid, with an even more sweeter voice, uttering such cuss words. . . . I was the one responsible for this. My husband came home and my boy kept using the word repeatedly, and he immediately knew where it came from. . . . And so i have been trying and trying since then to help him forget that word, substitute it for something else but all in vain. Nearest he goes to correction is "oh no, oh $**#t, toy broke down" . . . Any ideas, mom's how i can get rid of this mess. #momtalk, #realmoms #youngparents #youngmom #youngmommy #vocabularywords #youngmotherhood #motherhoodrising #raisingkidsright #realtalk, #lifewithkids #teachingkids #teachingatoddler #toddlermomlife #motheroftwo #motherandson #indianmomblogger #toddlerparents #indianbloggermom #mumbaimommyblogger #doctor_mommy_speaks #doctormommyspeaks (at In the Bed....) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9v6jqKFUXM/?igshid=1w99ryfcywlle

Baseball Season
“I vow to always love you, even during baseball season”
is the phrase I keep repeating to myself over and over and over again.
My husband is what I call, an aspiring baseball player. He isn't in the minors, he doesn't receive any compensation for playing. He plays COLLEGE. BASEBALL. With the season quickly approaching I can't help but begin to be filled with anguish because soon I will be more husbandless than not.
The next few months are the toughest ones out of the year for me, and usually for us as a couple. This year though I am trying to adjust my perspective and look at the bright side but nonetheless the emotions that come with doing all the work alone still arises. I am still going to try to be a supportive wife and not complain because I know that this time of the year isn't JUST baseball for him. He still has to work his FT job and keep up with his classes online plus try to be with us as much as he can.
For me, this time makes me so stressed out because I know that I am going to have to work, go to school, and solely be responsible of picking up our son. Usually we alternate which makes it easier to prep dinner, do homework, clean up, give/take showers, get G ready for bed etc. NOW hubs won't be coming home until right before G’s bed time on game days or hours after on practice days.
Additionally, I would get help from my dad or my brother who live upstairs but baseball season is during tax season and thats the busiest time of the year for my dads business so they won't be coming home until late either.
PRAYING for the strength and the wisdom to endure the next few months peacefully and gracefully.
XO, Ash
