Many times we assist them to do their shirt buttons, shoe lace or brush their hair. They will cry like... have you been in a situation of helping or assist him or her to do what he or she can do before? They will tell you NO!!!!! I can do it... don't help me. Even telling them that it is because of time,.... their answer is will still be a NO! This should be encouraged, because they can do it on their own.
