'Cause All I Know Is We Said "Hello" || {Raine + Dallas}
If there was one thing that Laurraine had never quite thought of, it was the fact that she would be sent back to the country where she had spent a whole lot of her early years in; and that country was the beloved Australia, to which had fabulous summertime days and lovely sweater weather nights. And what was also almost unbelievable was the reality that she was to live in the city of which music has quite a big impact on -- and it was safe to say that music was almost... her life.
She stood by the balcony grill of the apartment she had recently moved into, breathing in the Melbournian scent (she grew up around the coastlines of Sydney, so this was an entire different experience, mind you) in relaxation as a dimpled smile grows upon her features. It felt like she was having a fresh start, when she was just really starting a new chapter in her own little novel.
It's been a week since she had landed a place in the city, so there was quite a lot in the list that she would love to do before having to depart in about seven months time. It might seem long, but with everything going on these days, time passes by quite quickly much to her liking. In fact, she could have sworn that she couldn't see the sun ten minutes ago, but there it was, shining it's light throughout the waking urban area.
The woman felt like a damned Cinderella about to sing to the birds in nothing but simple shorts and tank top whilst doing her best on ignoring the cold air brushing by.
She tried to hold it in, the temptation of singing to the birds and other what nots. But before she knew it, a note of a song escaped her throat... and then another... which eventually lead to her singing a verse of a song that had been stuck in her mind due to the LSS -- Last Song Syndrome. She was rather quiet, in fear of waking up her fellow neighbours. Although, the moment she made her way back inside the apartment, her voice got a little louder as she took quick steps towards the kitchen with the thought of breakfast.
