Homecoming (@Sonics-Are-Cool)
- It appeared she had returned. Returned to this closed off place devoid of anyone or anything, save for the monsters that Caius controlled as they tried to assault the shrine of Etro. Even that had ceased for the time being it seemed and the warrior was left with the empty stone halls of the decaying temple that she could only imagine had once been a vibrant citadel.
Nothing had changed in her absence. Everything seemed to be exactly as she left it. It was as if the time in Pandora had been a completely alternative timeline, and this one had stayed frozen, so that there was nothing so impossible to deal with and irreversible occurring when she returned.
Right. She breathed a sigh as the word crossed her mind. Was she pleased it had come to this? Somehow she felt a little disappointed, but she didnt exactly know what she wished would have happened upon her return instead. Perhaps she had wished to be freed from this prison of this realm. Only she already knew, only she could save herself from this place.
For a few moments, she seemed to contemplate how she returned here, and what became of all the others she had met in Pandora, had they gotten home? Or had she failed them too. So many broken promises, the guilt would eventually consume her. Her hands balled into fists and her jaw set at the very thought. What had happened to them?
Blue eyes gazed across the landscape. It was quiet, there was no one here, and it was unlikely she could leave either. Back to square one, huh? Her lips pressed together in thought. What would she do now? -
