In honor of Robin Williams, here is the iPad Air "Your Verse" advertisement.

Apple's new commercial is completely amazing, if only for the commentary - which, I discovered, was taken from Robin Williams's movie 'The Dead Poets Society."

So, before I start talking about it, here's a portion of that speech:

"To quote from Whitman, "O me! O life!... of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless... of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life? Answer: That you are here - that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse." That the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?"

It is a truly amazing speech. And today, I hope it will encourage you.

Just think about those words for a moment: The powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse.

You're on this planet for a reason. You exist for a reason. You are meant to do something, to change something. And if all the world's a stage...you have a part in the play. You have a verse to write.

I guess what I want to do here is encourage you to start writing your verse. Start deciding what you want your impact to be. Write that book you've been wanting to write for ages, go to an orphanage overseas if that's what you feel like you need to do, buy the person standing in line behind you some coffee to make their day a little better - whatever it is, great or small, now is the time to do it. Write your verse.
