If You've Read "Divergent" and/or "Insurgent"...

I was sitting at dinner with my dad, sisters, and our family friend Pablo when Muriel (who, BTW, just joined the tumblr community) brought something to my attention:

What if "Divergent" and "The Hunger Games" are taking place at the same time? Like, it's still burned-out Chicago, but the Capitol tried to use it for, like, one of the first arenas ever? Only the tributes rebelled and banded together, and because the trackers didn't explode the tributes remotely yet, the Capitol panicked, locked them inside the gates, and just said, "Stay inside the gates, or it'll get ugly?" and the tributes pretty much just stayed inside and did their own thing. So they're cut off from Panem and the outside world, and Tris and the rest of them are just kinda cool with it, because they don't know the Games are still going on.
