Trans-critical/gender-critical radfems need to stop being so accepting of people who blatently hate trans people and call them 'trannies' like yoursocialconstructsareshowing and antonialo. Being trans-critical and not believing that a male can be a woman and having a radfem analysis of gender isn't transphobic but some radfems just unshamelessly despise trans people and are unnecessarily cruel to them.

it’s the obligation of male “allies,” trans or not, to confront misogyny in other males as well as themselves.

radical feminism is not for them to hijack and speak on, or to seek cookies from radfems. it’s for females, period. it’s for women, as in, adult human females.

and males’ welcome as allies is purely conditional, not a right or guarantee. males don’t get to dismiss radfems that they don’t like or don’t agree with, or those who call them out. radfems have the right to expose them for the cowards and misogynists they are.

I realise that male opinions are irrelevant to radfems, but that does not mean they don’t get to make them. If you don’t agree with someone, then fucking tell them.

i cant reblog and reply to yoursocialconstructsareshowings post for some reason (i cant tag her either but ill write her url in the tags) i guess bc I’m not following her but having someone tell you to google about your own fucking medical issue that has ruined your young life has got to be the shittiest thing that’s happened to me this week. not that she’s supposed to know (although it should’ve been obv by the tags) i have it, so it’s not entirely her fault that she assumed i don’t know about it but jesus. doctors that i have personally been to actually refer to androgenic alopecia (or hormone related hairless) as male patterned baldness even when it’s present in women and should be labelled female patterned baldness, but as I said in my message to yrsocialconstructs, it’s another one of those medical issues that are so under researched and talked about when it comes to women (and we know why) that it’s thought of as a male issue by most ppl and even referred to as one even when it’s present on a woman. MPB and FPB are the same thing in that theyre both medically the same thing, androgenic alopecia. clinically they present differently USUALLY but women can lose their hair exactly the same way men do, i have seen it with my own eyes and i have had doctors literally examine my own scalp for temporal loss and hairline recession. usually however women experience diffuse hair loss or thinning in the crown region (which men also do, men don’t just lose it through hairline recession) so when it comes to crown hair loss both sexes experience the same thing. not for a moment am i minimizing sex differences though, men experience this type of hair loss at a higher rate due to obvious hormonal issues (ANDROGENIC alopecia after all - although women can have it without having high androgens, such as with me, it’s a matter of sensitive androgen receptors in the skin rather than high androgens) and the genes - for a woman to inherit the hair loss gene she has to inherit it from both her parents, for a man to inherit it he has to only have gotten it from one of his parents. super unscientific explanation but yeah.  anyways, by saying both men and women experience what i referred to as MPB i didnt mean to coddle mens feelings or deny sexual dimorphism, but was making a sad little personal post detailing a little moment of my life as a woman that is afflicted with an issue that most ppl, even women and even women specifically concerned with women’s issues (medical issues being an issue that is affected by misogyny), don’t know women suffer from and seeing it made fun of (even though the receiver is a man and i have no sympathy for men, it still stings me bc hair loss is stigmatized and even moreso on women that are supposed to be perfect beautiful objects). so yea I’m gonna feel a pang of sorrow when fellow women make fun of an issue that i happen to deal with personally and that doesnt make me somebody coddling to males just bc it also happens to be something that happens to them/is associated with them. i didnt interrupt the convo where i witnessed this specifically bc i know their anger is totally founded, thats why instead i made a sad tumblr post that shouldnt be taken seriously as official feminist discourse lol………

literally though @yoursocialconstructsareshowing has reblogged men nonchalantly using the slur b*tch at least twice (1, 2) in the like, two days since she started writing her posts using the t-slur and how she is justified in doing so.  i just wanna ask how can you pretend to care about and prioritize the violent histories behind slurs (since you keep claiming the “lack” of a violent history behind the t-slur is one of the reasons why it’s okay for you to use it against trans women/the violent history behind misogynist slurs is why trans women are bad for using them against females) when you just…. obviously.. DON’T?  is this just you grabbing at any excuse you can come up with to try to defend your transphobia?  why are you reblogging men using a misogynist slur (with a violent history behind it, don’t forget!!!!!!!!!!) if you are supposedly so passionately against the usage of this slur by males?  do you only get mad when it’s being used by trans women?  what the fuck are you doing?

i don't know the whole of the religious patriarchal fiasco but i'm a fellow radfem AND atheist and here if you need to vent. your fans (like me) would miss you but i understand if you need to take a break or even feel like leaving altogether. you're awesome and i appreciate your outspokenness. there are so few atheist radfems and i'm glad i am following your blog.

I really, really appreciate this. Truly. I'm just so surprised and glad that anyone gets anything out of my ranting and occasional theory here and there.

I'm just so shocked that this kind of shit is allowed to fly in radfem spaces.

I mean, trailer park?? Really?? What is this, a middle school playground? I thought this was a liberation movement.
